i was wandering about an inconsistent thing in the x-files.
in the chapter Apocrypha in season 3 at the beginning there is a sailor
who talk's to mulder's father and at the end they see the smoking man
and he is having a ciggarete and at the start of the chapter they say that it is 1953
in the chapter musing of a cigarette's smoking man we see him at 1963 as an officer of the us army and he says that he doesn't touch cigarettes and only after JFK assassination he starts smoking his first cigarette.
has someone noticed this? and is there any explanation?
