It was so annoying, bec they changed it to 100 like right after I got to 500 posts. I mean, I actually like it better this way, bec I like seeing all the icons everyone uses, but still. I hardly found that to be fair.

Were you around back in those early days when it seemed like the boards were down and crashing for weeks on end. So glad that we have survived thanks to some great leaders in Administration. I dont know if people that weren't around when things were on such shaky ground know how much they should appreciate what we have here now.

Like Rach, I've been around since '01. Kept the same username all the time. Well the same userid number. My displayed name has changed a bit.

It really was rough for a while. This community has seen so many changes, it's incredible.

Speaking as someone who wasn't around back then, I don't think I do. I love these boards, but they piss me off when they get really slow, or are down for maintenance. I suppose I should appreciate them more.
