Michael Cera plays George Michael Bluth in the show - the son of Michael Bluth.
Michael turns 16 on June 7th - thats just a few days away! He may be young, but he's still a cutie! Okay the cast for this show is brilliant but finding a lesser known young actor as good as MC is where AD seperates from other shows. This guy is brilliant and has clicked with a veteran cast around him and found a way to even outshine some of them at times. I couldn't see anyone else playing GM.

I can see Michael becoming HUGE after this show... He definitely has the ability to play a comedy role perfectly, which is rare in kids his age.

He's really grown through the season. He looked so young, well younger, in the early eps compared to the season finale.

I agree this kid is brilliant. He really holds his own. Plus, he makes the icky storylines sweet. He had a crush on his cousin, and then his teacher (who sleeps with his father!)
Plus, he is the reason for the show. The only reason Michael stays with "the family" is to give George Michael some happiness and security. __________________

I have the same birthday as Michael Cera! Only I'm a year older. That's cool.
Anyway. He is pretty much the perfect actor to play George Michael. How he can have all these...unconventional crushes (Maeby, his teacher...) and still maintain his innocence takes some talent. |

Michael is a great actor, especially for his age. It's rare to see someone with such subtle comedic timing at any age.
I love his little 'Yikes' that he says every so often, too cute. The father/son relationship is also great, I like the way that it's portrayed; they're friends, but in a father/son way, Michael doesn't try to act like a teenager and George Michael respects his father. Chelsea  |

So I watched several eps last night after I got my DVD player and I've come to the conclusion that George-Michael just may be my favorite character. I think he's the nicest character.
I think my favorite George Michael episode is Pier Pressure. I loved when he was trying to act all street and score some weed. And that last scene where he tells Michael that he has a crush on his cousin... Cracks me up with how uncomfortable it is/ __________________

I loved it when he was scared of visiting George in prison, because he accidentally saw Oz when he was a kid.
