I'm the total opposite.

I watched TVD Season 1 and then got fed up with the show... I just hate triangles. So I refuse to sit through a whole series about one. I just think the character development on TVD is probably by far the worst I have ever seen on television. I did watch a little bit of S2 until I quit completely. I might give the show another try for S4, but everytime I try to watch again. I regret doing so. lol

True Blood, is way better. Way better character development, it focuses on everybody's storylines even the characters you may hate.

but I think after S2, True Blood start to go downhill as well. I did not watch Season 5 at all, S3 and S4 just disappointed me to another level, the S4 finale just upset me, making me not want to watch S5.

I would choose True Blood over TVD though.

I really don't know... I know he really liked her early on but when he fell in love with her, I don't know. It would be pretty sad if he fell in love with her the day she died.

It sure would... it'll make her death even more sadder. You find out you are in love with someone and then she dies in front of your very eyes from a mistake.

Yes it was. I loved the moment.

Shannon is thinking no one believes her and that she's some kind of joke and Sayid just tells her he believes in her and he loves her and then we know what happens next.

Same here.... I truly didn't like Shannon until the end of S1 though and I'm upset that when we find out more about her she dies.

It didn't make sense to me as well.... especially as to why they killed her off so early.
Probably they did it for shock value?
