I do think it was a bit disturbing though that Dan looked a bit like a pedophile with young Charlotte. I just wish the scene didnt come off with such weird undertones.

I inevitably felt badly for Dan though, he wanted to prevent Charlottes death but it lead to his own.

I dont think that could have been prevented. This is the first time he's spoken to Charlotte since she died and I guess he couldn't contain his heartbreak when he talked to her so he was bound to lose control of his emotions and creep little Charlotte out.

Poor Danny is such an emotionally broken human being!

I actually didn't get a pedo feel from it. I mean, I'm sure any person would react like that. After all, he does love her. But overall I think the scene was just really sad, heartbreaking.

I didn't get the pedo feel either, I can see why it scared Charlotte..but I can see why Dan would cry too..you're right it's just really heartbreaking and sad to see that he still tried
