You won't believe me but my reply to you had this quote but the thread was closed when I tried to post
 My jaw DROPPED. I definitely did not expect it and every time I rewatch I still get that feeling. Srsly what a twist! On one hand I was like you just didnt but on the other it was all part of the game, it was like the only way these two could function. The insanity is tempting but..no I wouldn't want it because simply I don't think I could handle it. For them it was their reality, how they grew up, all they knew really. So it made sense somehow. And yes everything else was just an obstacle, they didn't give a **** really when it came to choices. Poetic and disturbing altogether How about the scene with the car exploding and the hospital later on? Eeeeek |

Very well said! I totally agree the only way these two could function in eachother's lives was to continue playing that game. They didn't know how to be "normal" or happy without playing it. Like you said, it's just as romantic as it is disturbing.
 That scene was awesome! I loved what he was saying. It was like he had been revived after being dead for ten years. I was kind of expecting a crash as soon as he said "I could die happy." or whatever, but yeah, I couldn't accept that that was him in the hospital bed either. It didn't feel right without her right next to him, although it was obvious this game was going to be the death of them both. lol. |

I first watched when I was 16 and it was a crappy period those months and I remember I was bawling all over the place

What I hate about Brulian is it has all the emo elements of Brucas, so their like a bad copycat of BL. Its like history is repeating itself where Brooke is watching some other chic go off with the guy she loves. It almost makes Brooke look pathetic, like she wanted Julian so she could re-live her history with Lucas...but thats really creepy. |
