 Hurley was the island's voice of common sense and the big, beating heart at the center of Lost. It was bad enough losing Sun, Jin and Sayid in one episode, but when Hurley broke down, it got ten times worse. He is the the character who was easiest to root for because he was the one who tended to say the things that we the viewers were thinking. If it wasn't for Hurley, there wouldn't have been nearly as many laughs on this show. I loved it that he took over the island's reign. Jack could have been a good protector, but he didn't always play well with others. Hurley might lack in the bravery department, but he makes it up for with empathy. He was at his best when looking after everyone else. |
