Spoiler freaks would remember, one of Dark's sources said he read the scripts for WKD2. And he said at the end of the dock scenes writers wrote "We realize that Sawyer and Kate are romantically done. OVER. Never going back"

So this kinda proves to me that the screentime given to Skate was never to build them up as a romantic couple but to give them a common goal, make them be friends again. Coz writers knew Kate and Sawyer will be 2 characters that'll make it off the island. So it makes sense that the screentime was mostly there for that moment. Their scenes, discussions were all about getting off the island too.

So my point is... we were not only right about our interpretation of Jate but also right about Skate too.

Exactly. And I always said that skate screentime was to give them something, their payoff, because our payoff was going to be the endgame.

Exactly. And even if it happened, how sad that she spent her whole life with him thinking about Jack, the true love of her life and waiting till the day they would meet again, in another life.

I love our theme too... its tragic and beautiful like Jate.

When they start kissing and the familiar tune starts playing, aaaah its just so freakin great!

Our theme is a different version of Jack's theme right? They have similar tunes.

Jack's theme is played in piano and its more sad and the tune is sharper.
Jate theme is softer and more romantic and emo...

I guess i heard 3 different versions so far. Love all of them
