I forgot how Shannon got on my nerves
But how cute was her banter with Boone!

Sun&Jin are really odd in the pilot, I don't like them here.

OK. The episode confirmed once again that there won't ever be a better show than this one.
Seriously. The opening scene is the best one EVER on TV. if not even one of the best opening scenes of Series & Movies.

And I just love how they kept the eye thing through the entire show.



Just some quick Jack loving. Matthew really carried this show through all six seasons. Starting with the pilot.




THIS. Its sooooo amazing to think that now they are brother & sister and they didn't even know this at that time, nor did we.
Makes the scene even more significant.




Also, the whole Pen thing with Boone. and in S6 he also had this pen thing going on with Kate... typical LOST.




I wish I was kidding but I started crying here... it just hit me again, LOST IS OVER.


And Jesus, Jack & Kate.. these two are really one of a kind OTP.
They were connected from the start and I love how during all the chaos they had a scene that brought a moment of stillness to the episode.
The first two to really interact and have a conversation, perfect start for a perfect journey.



FATE <33333 The introduction of another theme through this entire show.



This made me LOL like crazy.

"You all every.....body."
"We should get moving."


And when the monster showed up for the first time and Walt went all: "Is that Vincent?" LOL.
+ the creepy shot of Vincent in the bushes and we didn't know that was Vincent just yet.... Oh LOST, you brilliant show.




And this scene reminded me of the start of Season 6 and how far we've come and how insane and unexpected the twist in S6 were!




Also, there won't ever be a show with more PERFECT AND GORGEOUS SHOTS AS THIS SHOW.

Nor will there be a show with more character growth for each and every single character.



+ the acting was BRILLIANT from the start. Normally you always have some flaws in the cast but this casting was brilliant.
They really possessed their characters.


DEFINITELY THE MOST CREEPY LOST EPISODE EVER !

Its so crazy to know now that smokey was MIB.!




In the end I'm just, "Oh My God."

Man the pilot is so epic.

Loved the first 10 or so minutes.

Locke was so mysterious in the pilot...really wanted to know more about him.

Jin and Sun were both so different back then...that scene with wanting to be as free as Kate was one I didn't notice earlier

Yes! Pilot is one of the best episodes of a TV show ever!

I loved the introductions to all the characters, loved good ol' salty Sawyer

I remember being so scared of Smokey and thinking he was some dinosaur thing

I will admit my favourite thing of the pilot is the opening sequence, from Jacks eye opening to running out on the beach and seeing the carnage, helping Claire & Rose etc. The plane crashing down nearly on top of them, to Boone finding pens

And the music <3 Oh the music is brilliant!

Oh and yes .. "You all everybody" Love it!

BEST. PILOT. EVER.

You can't watch the pilot and not get hooked on this show! I remember when I first show it on national television - yeah, I'm slow - I thought it was a movie, and then 40 minutes later....... LOST! I was like WTF! I was carried away by it!
The Pilot has so many great moments. But the for me the following stand out of the rest:
- Jack's opening eye shot. We all know the significance now!
- Jack and Claire interaction. Claire is the first person that Jack protects!
- Jack and Kate. Their first scene together is really powerful.
- Sawyer being the absolute badass of the show. And if you come to think of the ending you'll say character development at its best.
- Smoke Monster makes his first 'appearance'
- Charlie and Hurley are introduced as the comic relief of the show.
- Jin and Sun... I was indifferent to them at that time.
- Shannon and Boone... Shannon just annoying, Boone the cutenness!
Can't wait to discuss all the episodes with you guys. Keep LOST alive for as long as you can!

Oh yes THE MUSIC. You can just feel this show is different by the music.
Its awesome we got one of the best working on our show!


Same here, in 2005 S1 aired here. The promo was really cool and we wanted to watch it.
I was at the computer looking stuff up about Dawson's Creek at that time but the pilot started,
I turned around and quickly found myself in the sofa.
Never missed an episode ever since. BEST PILOT EVER.
