I thought this was a good episode. Although it does not explain why Hurley was on tv in Korea. I didn't expect them to find Danielle but I am glad she did not go psycho again and torture poor Hurley. Too bad Charlie did not believe him about the money. I was laughing when Hurley told Sayid Danielle said Hi.

My quick thoughts on this eppy...
at Sawyer for being whiny - I don't remember him ever being this whiny while trying to read a book. Is he suffering from nicotine withdrawal? How many times has he read that book? I see Michael, Jin and Walt are still building the boat. at Walt for nagging Sawyer to help build the boat. Hurley owned a box company....Locke worked at a box company. Is it the same box company? when Hurley told Charlie how much he was worth and Charlie was like...stop joking - I poured my heart out to you and this is all I get? Verrrrry creepy. The numbers brought Danielle and the others on the plane to the island. This is getting very interesting! Me like! Who were those people in the cave? Two of Danielle's people or people that were there before them or Ethan's tribe? It's gonna be a looooong wait! But we can speculate about where this show is going and go crazy until we get a new eppy. __________________

To whoever asked? crazymike4 - The numbers were engraved on whatever Boone and Locke have been working to uncover in the jungle. They're on that big metallic chamber thingy whatever it is that is buried.
Alot of my quick thoughts are running similar to JNorky74. But I have to add that I blubbered like a baby when Locke presents Claire with what he was making. Aww. The whole episode was great as usual. It keeps getting better and better and now we wait. It's going to be a LONG 5 weeks. __________________

I think Sayid and them are on the right track with the numbers, maybe not coordinates, but maybe a lock combination, or some sort of combination in that sense.
When I first saw the numbers, they went up by a certain amount. I think it was two, two, two and then it jumped by a few. Jellybean thing, doesn't sound quite right. So now we know those numbers have to do with the capsule thingy, but I still think there cominations to unlock something. __________________

Those numbers are driving me crazy. WHAT DO THEY MEAN?!? I have been racking my brains. At first I thought maybe they would add up to 666 but I haven't been able to figure that out...or could it be the combination to Pandora's Box? Didn't Lenny (??) say something about a BOX?? I think this was one of the best episodes of the season, by far. |

This was a pretty good episode. I liked last week's better, but this was a good one.
First off: 2.5 seconds of Kate! SO GOOD. Now just keep her screentime around that general length and we'll be golden. The numbers thing is interesting. But to be honest I don't really know what to make of it, at all. I loved Hurley hugging CrazyFrenchLady. Hee. Love the Hurley. I also loved how everytime some absolutely horrendous thing would happen to someone, twinkly little Hurley music would play. And I thought it was hilarious when he went "Oh, crap" when the house was on fire, 'cause I was saying the same exact thing every time something went wrong. Obviously the island is not as tricky to navigate as they thought, if Charlie can wander right back to the exact spot where Jack and Sayid are. Especially when he was on the opposite side of a big cliff. How does Claire know it's her birthday? I'm just going to assume that somebody out there found a daily planner and has been keeping track, or something. Because there's no way SHE could be keeping track, considering the amnesia and all. I was sad that there were no little C/C moments. Oh well. Hopefully in the next episode...6 weeks...blah. That said, I was expecting a giant cliffhanger at the end, and we didn't get one. As torturous as they can be, I wish there was one. I love it when shows make me all, "OMGWTFCOMEBACK!!!" |

At the end, when they started doing a close-up of the hatch, I kinda expected it to pop open and have some thing crawling out

Ok just seeing those numbers on the hatch...terrified me.
Is that stupid? But it really creeped me the crap out. This was a great episode I'm so glad Hurley got a centric ep. The greatest parts were "She says hi." and Charlie not believing him about the money. That was hilarious. And also Locke can live becuse he built that adorable crib for Claire!! AWWWWW That was great. Poor Emilie DeRavin they aren't giving her much to do for the time being. And I'm glad we had Sun/Jin/Michael stuff. LOL when they are arguing and can't understand each other. That's awesome. I'm so sad we won't have any eps until April. Ah well at least I'll have something to look forward too! __________________

Ahhhhh! What the heck do those numbers mean!? Ugh it's going to be the vain of me.
This episode was so chalk full of more questions I feel like I want to pick apart every minute to see where the connection is. So is everyone's backstories connected somehow? I mean Locke worked at the box factory that Hurley bought. Jack and Sawyer are connected with Jack's father. Boone was at the police station when Sawyer was brought in. Jin's episode had Hurley on the TV. Are all these just coincidences or is there something more? Are there any others that I haven't mentioned? Curiouser and curiouser.... __________________

Good episode.
What I found interesting was in "Raised by Another" Claire has a dream with Locke (one white and one black eye) and proceeds to find a crib, and in this one Locke builds her a craddle. Coincidence? I think not. I keep trying to figure out the numbers could possibly mean. As for Claire remembering her birthday, it's not that hard to tell when a new days begins, I'm sure someone told her what the date was exactly and she probably kept track. Quote:
