I think the "I'm not afraid" scene got alot of people aboard the ship. Cause that was a beautiful moment between the two.

I started to Squee when i watched it with my family and they looked at me like I was crazy. And my only explanation was "omg, their love is so OTP!!!"

It's odd, they just don't understand the concept of shipping a couple. And I'm all about a ship, I mean the majority of my love and enjoyment of a show is the moments between my couple.

My family just accepts the couples that are there. The CC couples. Like Syd/Vaughn in Alias. I don't think they know that they could have a choice. Even if it won't ever happen, you can still ship anyone you want. They just don't really get the concept of shipping, especially UC shipping. They don't really think that it has anything to do with the show. But it does!

Yeah it's weird with the family. They really don't understand the concept. Like for me I'm all for UC ships and slash but they would never get it especially with the slash.

Oh, I know. My mom is baffled by UC shipping to because she's like "they're not together on the show." Um, not the point. But she doesn't really ship even the CC either. Again, baffled.

Yeah it baffles me also. Like how can they not think of shipping people on a show, it's just weird to me.

my mom also doesn't see the charlie/claire connection at all. She's like "I thought the druggie was gonna hook up w/ the bitchy blonde girl..."

I know! They just don't get it. Like, if they don't like the characters, they really dont get how I can ship them with anyone. Like Sawyer, my family hates him and they can't understand how I find him so hot and how I can ship him with everyone. And they don't see how I can ship pregnant Claire with anyone. Especially with the druggie.

And I don't even bring up the slash. Because if they don't get the concept of shipping, they wouldn't even get the slash. Which is why I come here!

I just don't know how they cannot see C/C. Oh I know I would never bring up slash with the family, they just wouldn't get it.
