Music on the L word
I love the music they play. It's so fitting to the scene. Like when Tina comes home from their trip and finds a very guilty bette. the music is priceless.

I think the soundtrack to the show is out in May, it's on www.amazon.com, the date, that is.
I've read the track listings and some say they could have had some more "key" songs on there from the show then what they ended up putting on the soundtrack. Mel [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img] __________________

I really love alot of the music too. The song when Tina comes home from vacation at Palm Springs I actually originally heard on the Ten Things I Hate About You soundtrack [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

Joseph Arthur is getting alot of play on new shows lately. Didn't he have Honey and the Moon on The OC towards the beginning of the season as well?

Anyone else notice how fast Soundtracks and DVD sets are coming out for the freshman shows lately? I remember Buffy had to be in syndication for almost a year before the DVD's were even released, and now we have them coming out months after the seasons are over.

I've noticed it as well and I think it's great, the sooner I get my shows on DVD the better. There is also a huge margin for success on DVD of canceled shows, look at Firefly and Roswell, they're soaring on DVD and new fans are getting to see it, it's great. The L Word will be out on DVD sometime in fall and I can't wait to get my copy. I'll also be buying Everwood, OTH, and The OC when they come out over the summer or fall.

Yeah, the manufacturers are really getting their money's worth by putting the shows on DVD quickly. It's basically creating a new breed of fans who end up getting into the show after it's already over.
One thing that I can't quite understand though. QaF and presumably The L Word too, are around 100 dollars, for seasons that are relatively half of what a normal network season is. And yet the shows with a full 22 episode season are about half that price. __________________

And that's why I've never bought QaF on DVD. I don't get why Showtime series are very expensive. I'm hoping that The L Word won't be as expensive cause I can't afford that.
