Yeah... for me it was more bizarre for it not to exist in season 3-4... I feel season 5-forward it makes sense because after high school, a lot of people do change and meet new friends and their life sort of change. Tim should've been more around season 3-4, for sure.

I mean, I still have my childhood since we still close, but it just one person that you still friend from day one, but not the whole damn school..

I unfortunately move on from people quickly so I don't have anymore of my childhood friends however during the certain school levels I had the same friends! which is why I felt it would've been realistic for Nathan and Tim to stay BFF throughout all the high school years and than drifted apart...

Only thing that was not realistic that how the core still stay friends for years, but they can't do that for Nate/Tim even tho he was the one who grew up w/ him unlike others.. I mean, they don't even give Nathan a best friend like they can do w/ Lucas/Haley, Mouth/Skill, Peyton/Brooke..
