A Walk on the Moon Discussion Thread - Because we'll walk anywhere with Viggo!
Has anyone seen this movie? I must have seen it a dozen times - you know, just for the waterfall scene. But it's incredible fun to watch Viggo play a hippie at Woodstock!

The waterfall scene.
The bus scene. The covered in paint at Woodstock scene. I LOVE WALKER JEROME!!!! Edited to add the waterfall wp I made some time ago. I figure it's about time I re-posted it. 1024 x 768 I've got an 800 x 600 version too, but it's not uploaded anywhere at the moment. If anyone wants it, just let me know and I'll post it. Hee! I love this movie. I don't own it (Shame on me), but I always rent it. Infact, I rented it a couple of weeks ago.
And yes, painted Viggo is incredibly sexy. Oh my god, is he ever. __________________

I feel ashamed, I never watched this movie yet. But I agree, painted Viggo is sexy. I think I might want to go rent it soon.

Oh it's a great movie to watch. Granted, I could say I'm shallow to say that I watched it just for the waterfall and then later for Woodstock with half-naked Viggo.

Can I be Diane Lane please? Please?
Dang it's a hot movie!! Viggo looks so freakin good...did you notice he has no shoes, just like in real life? And he plays a hippy - in real life he's hippy too. The man's a bomb! He has the sexiest back I've ever seen. Oh I love the hair too. Anyone knows any screencapy site? Edited to say: I really DID love the movie very much, it was sad and warm. I've not seen this movie as of yet.
I was hoping can anyone tell me what its about and if its good so I can go rent it. Thanks for those caps. Something about Viggo with the medium-ish long blonde-ish/brown-ish hair turns me on. __________________

Ice Queen follower, the basic plot is that Pearl (Diane Lane) and her family go away for the summer and she runs into Walker Jerome (Viggo) and they end up having a wild affair. Since Pearl got married and had kids she's been kinda straight-laced and is a bit bored with her life, and Walker is this hippie who basically sets Pearl's inner wild-child free.....so to speak. It's set in 1969, the year of the moon landing, hence the title. Sadly for Pearl, she doesn't get to see the moon landing though. The TV's on in the background, but she's somewhat distracted at the time. Hey, I just remembered that I made a wp of that scene too! *goes to find it* 1024 x 768 I actually think it was pretty symbolic that it was at the moment of the moon landing that Pearl gave in to Walker like she did (and honestly, who could blame the woman?!)...."One small step" indeed! Phee - I rather be distracted by Walker than seeing the Moon. Hee-hee!!!!
rebelle - Oh, I love cowboys and men on horses. Phee can tell you what a fan I am of men riding horses. Of course, this has nothing to do with me being a horseback rider |
