Nice we get to see a bit more of the family dynamic with Emma’s family

Conversation flows easily between Emma and Charlie on their date although Charlie and Emma are both keeping secrets from each other

Still a bit awkward

Some angst of her pushing him away

Wasn’t quite expecting that already in episode 2 but it makes things more interesting

I liked the phone call scene near the end where she says she feels like Charlie’s the only one who really sees her

Just finished - pretty good episode again

The promo for next week’s episode looks good - she wants to meet Charlie’s family and know more about him - wonder how that will go

It was nice to Emma’s side of the family and that she told her brother.

It was a strong second episode in that you can tell where the story is going to go. So she has to say if she’s in a relationship with someone and they have to do a background check on them, interesting. I wonder if that is her wanting to meet his family in the next episode because she does need to be all in or out in mine opinion given her job.

Also is this the weirdest triangle ever? It’s non romantic but okay Daphne is after Emma now or needs avoid Emma not sure how that’s going to play out. Charlie owes Daphne money and then there’s Charlie and Emma where Emma’s after Daphne. And like if Emma and Charlie knew then they would be able to take down Daphne easily (so of course you know they can’t cause then you know, no storyline) but then would Emma need to turn Charlie in?
