Plot:

I think my favorite death scene is when Mrs. Lovett is killed. I think a lot of the problems could be laid at her feet and when Sweeney realizes all she has caused and all she could've prevented it becomes a very poignant scene. And the thing about is that she invited it all on herself. She encouraged it and although I feel sorry for her I'm also angry with her. Anyway, that is my favorite scene.

It was sloppy, and he was almost caught, which made it more memorable IMO.

That scene with Mr. Imperiolli was certainly a pivitol scene as well. I think it gave Sweeney his power even more.

But at the same time, he wasn't planning on killing Imperiolli, he realized he had to though when Imperiolli recognized him as Benjamin Barker.

Very true. I guess I don't think much about his death because Mrs. Lovett was such a powerful one to me. It is the one I remember the most.

I remember the first and the last the most.

Mrs. Lovett was a powerful one, but at the same time predictable.

I didn't find Imperiolli's predictable or in other words, didn't see it coming.

Plus Sacha himself is such a 'memorable' person!!!

But wasn't that the point? To show how the Judge had ruined him and turned him into a monster because of what he did to him.

All he could think of was revenge and it killed him in the end.

Yes it was the point, but I was grossed out. I didn't do anything to him why did I have to hear it? Seeing it wasn't bad, but hearing it was blech.

I know what you mean. But I also think the realism of it was more imprinted on you because the sound effects, so in the end, if you were not grossed out, something is wrong with you!
