 Made by Melika Plot: Paul Kemp is a freelance journalist who finds himself at a critical turning point in his life while writing for a run-down newspaper in the Caribbean. Paul is challenged on many levels as he tries to carve out a more secure niche for himself amidst a group of lost souls all bent on self-destruction. I can't wait for this movie, i've been looking forward to it since it was annoucne that JD was going to be in it.
I only wish that we had a release date, something to look forward to. __________________

I'm really only looking forward to this movie because Johnny is in it. I know he's a big fan of, and was friends with, Hunter Thompson, but after Fear & Loathing, which I can honestly say is my least favorite JD movie, I'm very wary of any movie with his name/book in the mix. From the pics I've seen so far, Johnny looks really good, so I'm willing to keep an open mind, but a wary one.

i'm going to i found this site last night that has free pdf. of book for a limited time and The Rum Diary was one of them as well as that other one starting with S that Johnny is doing.
