The stories in L&O:UK are based on stories from the original L&O series, but with a British flavour. I think it would have worked better with original stories but it was part of the franchise deal apparently.
I'd probably watch other versions of WAT, especially if it tied in with the original in the same that the New York L&Os do and occasionally featured members of the New York team (especially Martin, Danny and Viv). |

 I gotta admit Jamie Bamber was a pull for L&O: UK, for me anyway. But I think it's pretty good. That'd be pretty cool if they made other versions of WAT, especially if Jack/Martin etc appeared from time to time. |
