The OT Thread #11: Who Would You Turn Gay For?

Carry on!

I didn't bother quoting the last few posts. It was just Val and I discussing Batman, Robin and the fact that one of them wasn't wearing any pants.

Thanks for the new thread!! The title...
Yes, I really think there's no need to quote our last posts.

Isn't the title fun? If I was lurking on the board a title like this would totally make me want to post.

Half the stuff on TV right now is British. I hate British TV.

I'm glad my mum doesn't know English or she'd be worried.
What British tv? Mr Bean?

Uh... No. Right now it's all lame crime shows. It's amazing how many British detectives are like 200 years old.

I don't think I've ever seen British tv. Except for when I was in the UK. But I had more interesting things to do than watch tv...

...they watch US series??
Italian tv's not that good either, if it weren't for all the American series I'd probably never watch tv at all.

Same goes for Australian TV. Most of it is really bad. US TV saves us all.

Australian reality TV is the worst because it always involves a "celebrity" - and in Australia all you have to do is clean up a sports star's dog's poo to be classified as a celebrity.....

Nice one Chris. Same goes on around here.

Damn. I asked to some London med schools whether they accepted foreign students for elective placements, and one answered and said no.
I really wanna do something like that this summer, turns out a bit harder than I thought.

I don't want this thread to end, the title is way to awesome.

Canadian TV, I don't know. I mean, we have Degrassi, and Regenisis, which are good shows. Aside from that I don't even know..

GUYS! I have good news! For me anyway! My dad's close friend is a doctor, he has a private practice, and he came over for dinner last night, and he asked me what I wanted to do when I'm older, and I told him. Then he asked if I'd like to work (volunteer) at his practice in August. All I'll really have to do is maybe file some stuff and listen to his assistants. It'll give me hours that I have to get for my graduation as well so it'll be absolutely awesome! He said if I'm interested I should call him when I come back from vacation.
