Anyway, the songs for this episode aren't listed, which means they must be pretty hard to recognise, as usually the site is awesome :) I'm not particularly well schooled on rap, but hopefully someone else will be able to help you out!

I was interested to hear Bill and Zach slagging off Five for Fighting for being too expensive to put on the DVD, on the commentary for My Blind Date, and then if you listened carefully they actually HAD used the song in the end! *g*

No, you're not crazy. Quite a few of the tracks had to be changed because they couldn't afford the rights to put them on the DVD, which sucks. If you listen to the Bill/Zach commentary for My Blind Date, they comment that they couldn't afford "Easy Tonight" by Five For Fighting, but the track actually made the cut in the end so they managed to find the money, obviously!

Actually, "Easy Tonight" was replaced on the Season 1 DVD. Bill and Zach watched the original version of "My Blind Date" while doing the commentary, and as a result, the lyrics of "Easy Tonight" are clearly audible. You'll hear the new song when the commentary is turned off. This also happens at the end of "My Sacrificial Clam"; Bill and the actors talk about "All In My Head", even though that song was replaced as well.

They replaced All In My Head? That sucks! I love that song...and Bill said they wrote it specially for the show! I thought that at least all the songs on the soundtrack would have stayed.

I haven't watched the episodes yet, just the ones with commentary on, but I figured that the people doing commentary would have had headphones on and we would get what made the cut of the DVD because I didn't think we'd be allowed to hear it at all, and we clearly could on the commentary version. So I just assumed it would stay the same.

I cant believe they replaced that!!! Thats one of the best songs in the season!!!

It sucks that they have to replace songs at all ... but then, I'd rather get the DVDs with a few songs replaced than not get the DVDs at all!
