nope i think they go way beyond charmed... they met at a party i think..they were both child star that time..shay left charmed 2001, so if holly says "if you havent spent 8 years with her then i dont want your opinion" in an interview about shay leaving charmed that means they were friends since 1993...
as for charmed i think shay was the one who refer holly to aaron, shay was reading her lines with holly and that's when shay knew that holly is pefect for the role... but i think holly was supposed to be prue and shay was supposed to be piper at first... __________________

This is my first time visiting the Charmed Forum and I just want to say that Holly was the best thing on the show. When the writing got bad and we had Kaley shoved down our throats, I could always look forward to HMC delivering a spectacular performance. Now that's impressive.
