That was part of what made the show so addictive and interesting, and now it seems to be gone...

Sadly I think it lost a lot of steam once Prue left. As much as I love Paige (and she’s my fav character), it just wasn’t the same. Plus, I think the storylines got a lot more ridiculous after a while. Some of the stuff they got up to just made me roll my eyes, especially the ones concerning Phoebe.

Also they put so much emphasis on Phoebe's character ever since Shannon Doherty left, it's like it's all about her and the thought of Piper & Paige are added later on. It's just retarded.
Word. It doesn’t help that I can’t stand Phoebe as well.

I loved Charmed and I'm still a huge fan of the show. However, when the show was still airing, I did feel like the later seasons just weren't as good and the writers were running out of ideas. I just felt it lost its creativity after Prue died and as the seasons continued. Now I am re watching the series (I am almost done with season 5) and I just love it and feel really nostalgic. I miss it a lot. <3

I didn't think it lost it's touch AT ALL. It obviously was different after Prue died, but I still think it was just as good. I never got bored with the show or anything.

It didn`t loose its touch.
Okay I was sad after Prue left but I keept watching because of Piper. And if Piper would have left too then I would have stopped watching.

I was sad after Prue left too, but I thought the show still remained really good and Paige grew on me. Piper has always been my favorite though, that never changed.

It didn't loose it's touch. I have still loved the show after Shannen leaves. But I don't like season 8 much. I mean it was the last season and in my opinion it's the weakest season. I had hoped for more. It was quite boring sometimes.

Yeah, it wasn't really much for it being the final season.

I think a lot of the problems with S8 is the lack of focus on the sisters. And by sisters, I mean the Halliwells. Not the other sisters who got too much screen time.

Primal Slayer 09-02-2015 08:57 PM

Yeah bringing Billie and have it focusing on her and her sister was not the right way to go. The writers just didn't seem to take the show that seriously and they constantly were adapting popular movies/tv shows into episodes.
