I also liked the episodes were their parents and ancestors appeared. Also that the actors they chose were really good and played the part well. Glad they changed the actor who starred as Victor character in the later seasons cause I did like the one in S1 at all.

The first Victor looked like he came in straight from a mobster movie set. At least, that's my impression.

I remember someone telling me that (supposedly) they changed who played Victor because the first one looked like he had chemistry with Prue/Shannon and that was not good since he was meant to be her father. I never liked him either, James Read was much better.
