We don't have power lines down currently around here I believe. The weather has calmed down here fortunately. Seems like you all are doing well.

You're welcome, and you're welcome.

Oh, and are you gonna comment on the newest Riverdale episode on the discussion thread? ;)

Thanks. :) And don't worry, I think it's great that you're spending time with family. I wish I still had family to spend time with. Wow, 1000 piece puzzle? How long did that take?

I'm okay, thanks. :) I hope you are too.

Hey Alex. :)

Thanks.

Well, I was going to do that last night after watching the episode but I ended up watching Moonshot, 1987 Dragnet movie, and fell asleep watching Hook.

Then today I was going to it but I ended up going shopping which I'm glad I did because at Dollar General I bought No Way Home on DVD.

Later on I went to Ollies, and bought some more books/comics like Green Arrow, Batgirl, Flash, Aquaman, Justice League, MMPR color book, Disney Villains storybooks, and Bob Ross book.

I also bought Wizard of Oz matching game.

Finally after getting back I posted on the thread. :)

Thanks. :) Sorry to hear that. :( Yep, and we're still building it.

Good, no problem. :) Thanks, you too. :)

Hey Matt. :) Hope you're doing ok. :)

I hope everyone is ok, and Goodnight as well. :)

canflam 04-06-2022 07:26 PM

I have not watched "No Way Home" yet. How was it?

Hi, Matt!

I haven't seen it, but dragonfire has. :) I heard it was good.

Hey, dragonfire!

I'm not surprised that you fell asleep during Hook. It wasn't my favorite Spielberg film. What did you think of Dragnet? :)

Oh, that's cool! :) Glad you got No Way Home. And that's awesome that you got all those comics. :) All reprints again? I love reprints.

Bob Ross? Wow, I used to watch him when I was a kid.

What's a matching game?

You're welcome, dragonfire. :) I hope you finish that puzzle.

I'm okay, thanks. :) I hope you are too. Goodnight!

Hey Alex. :)

I fell asleep because I was tired. I actually love Hook, it's been one of my favorite movies ever since I first watched it as a kid. :)

I liked it. :)

Thanks. :) Yes, all reprints again. :) Glad to hear. :)

Yep. Glad to hear. :)

Memory game like you have a rows of cards, and you flip over two cards to see if you got a match which whoever gets the most matches wins the game.

The main thing is that it's fun, and it helps kids to learn memory. :)

Plus I couldn't say no to a Wizard of Oz version.

Thanks. :) Thanks.

Good, no problem. :) Thanks. :)

Hey Matt. :) Hope you can see it soon. :)

I hope everyone is ok, and good day as well. :)

Hope everyone is having a good week

PhoenixRising 04-08-2022 12:10 AM

Hi, Sam! My week has been rainy, but I'm doing okay.

Hi, dragonfire!

Oh, so you do like Hook? Sorry. I liked it, but it wasn't my favorite. Probably because I was 22 when it came out.

I'm glad you liked Dragnet. :) It's another totally 80s buddy comedy. ;) :sun:

Reprints are great, dragonfire. :) They give you a chance to catch up on all of the old comics that you might not have read. You should try DC Comics' Blackhawk series. :)

Ohhh, I think I remember that card game. I might have only played it once. And it's a Wizard of Oz version? :)

You're welcome. I'm okay, and I hope you are too. :)

OMG... :rotfl: I had to post this in spoiler tags. :lmao:

A gym in Phoenix, Arizona called Muscletopia is using the Will Smith/Chris Rock slap at the Oscars as an advertisement:

Hi, Matt!

Yes, I heard. I was expecting a suspension, but I didn't think it would be for a decade. But considering the circumstances he should consider himself lucky that Rock didn't press charges.

Hi, dragonfire!

Yes, well... I was also going through a very, very bad time in the early 1990s when Hook came out, so that also might've clouded my opinion of it, somewhat.

Dragnet came out in 1987, which was a pretty good year for movies. :) Predator, Robocop, Lethal Weapon, The Lost Boys, Full Metal Jacket, Moonstruck, The Untouchables, Beverly Hills Cop 2, The Princess Bride, Wall Street, Fatal Attraction, Good Morning Vietnam, The Witches of Eastwick, Dirty Dancing, The Princess Bride, Spaceballs, Planes Trains and Automobiles, Three Men and a Baby, Raising Arizona, Innerspace, The Running Man.

You're welcome. :) I really liked Blackhawk when I first read it in the 1970s as a kid. They're a lot more like DC's version of SHIELD than ARGUS is.

Well, I haven't had anyone to play card games with in a long time. :(

You're welcome. :) And thanks.

Yeah, I couldn't resist posting that. Hopefully that's the last time I ever post anything about Will Smith.

I'm okay, thanks. :) I hope you are too.

I hope you can one day. :(

Thanks. :) No problem. :)

Thanks again for posting that. Maybe.

Good, no problem. :) Thanks. :)

Sorry for not being here much as I used to be. I'm hoping I can do better. :)

Oh, the other day I went to Gamestop, and bought the MMPR&Zeo Pink Rangers action figures two-pack.

Then I went to Walmart, and bought the Lost Galaxy Megazord figure, and Family Feud Disney version game as well. :)

I hope everyone is ok, and goodnight as well. :)

Hi, dragonfire!

You're welcome. :)

Thanks. :( I hope so too.

You're welcome again.

Trust me, you'll understand when you read Blackhawk. :) They spend all of their time in the air fighting threats to the USA and the Earth.

That's okay, dragonfire. :) I know you're spending time with family and you need that right now. I know you'll be back to posting regularly.

Wow, you're gonna buy out everything Power Rangers. You should buy stock in the company that owns them. :P

I know, you told me about the Disney Family Feud game. ;)

Thanks. :) I'm okay, and I hope you are as well. Goodnight!
