I *tried* to explain "Preacher" to my mom tonight, and she goes, "That sounds like a weird show!"

Yeah. I've only seen the one pilot episode, but that was a little weird.

I saw 2 episodes and it is kinda weird though I don't think it makes it bad.

Preacher does sound a bit weird

but in an interesting way. Conviction, premise-wise, is probably more my genre but I will give Preacher a go eventually too.

Yeah, Conviction is more in my "wheelhouse", but I'm totally interested in watching Preacher some more whenever I get around to it.

Weird can definitely be good.

I love From Dusk Till Dawn (tv show) and it can be classified as weird. Though I will say when it comes to Preacher and Conviction I do think I'll be much more interested in Conviction. And it will probably end on hulu so it will be much easier for me to watch it.

I never get to watch anything live so I'm used to it by now

and it's easy to stream/download the episodes anyway so no biggie.

BTW, just curious, is this a larger role for Emily compared to TWD?

I've heard good things about her character there but just never got around to watching the show.

Streaming hates me!

It will usually work great during commercials but sucks during what I'm trying to watch. And that's if it works at all.

It looks like it. She is a main here where as on TWD she was guest starring for s2-4. Only a main during 5 and well they only did that so they could say

I hate watching stuff on-line, so I do my DVR, or hope it'll come on Netflix someday.

So do I. I would much rather watch it on the tv. Which is why I count on hulu a lot for things like this. And waiting for Netflix to get it can be a pain when you really want to see it.

That is one of the bad things about Netflix.

But, then, you get all the episodes at once, so you don't have to wait week after week.
