Why would they do that? I just hope Steve ends up with Peggy somehow at the end of the movie.

I think they should just do a Titanic-like scenario and we see them young & together in the after-life, like Jack & Rose were reunited at the end. I know it’s not exactly the same, but Rose lived a good life after Jack died. Happy marriage, kids, grandkids. Though Jack was still a part of her heart, she was able to move on & live a happy life without him, just like Peggy did. Of course, Jack was never frozen in ice for 40 years and got to visit Rose when she was in her 90’s, before she died, but it’s almost the same concept and I agree with the article, that I don’t want to see everything that happened in AC be “erased”, just to put Steve & Peggy back together by the end...

If Cap dies, I hope they do something like that. Showing them together in the afterlife. I just hate that they never got their shot, so I hope they get it somehow in Endgame.
