The unnofficial count for the boards on FF was performed a couple of weeks ago, and unfortunately, the Tru Calling board fell well under the post count needed to keep it alive.

Although this was an unofficial count, there will be an official count in October that'll determine which boards will be booted.

If you guys would like to see the Tru Calling board stay alive, we need to keep this board as active as possible. I understand that the summer time is very slow for the boards, as there is a hiatis and not much we can discuss in regards to the board.

However, there are plenty of other things we can talk about to keep this board alive and make sure it sticks around after the official post count is conducted in October.

Games. They're simple, and often don't require that much of a thoughtful post. Just participating in one game on a regular basis can help get the numbers up.

Actor discussion threads. Great for posting pictures and discussing comparisons between the actor/actresses role on the show, and previous roles.

Character and shipper appreciation threads, fan art, news threads, and picture threads are great too.

The new season will not be starting until November, meaning we won't have much to discuss in regards to new episodes until then, so if we want this board to stick around, we need to start getting creative in how we can keep it active.

We've still got a couple of months to get our weekly average post count up.

At the unnoficial check, it was at 55, and we need to get it up to an average of 100 a week. So, as you can see, we have a lot of work to do.

I believe we can do it though. Help spread the word to get more traffic on the board. I've been slacking a little myself, but I'm going to working on being a better mod and getting on in here more often myself.

No, they only do unoffical counts twice a years as well. But you can do your own counting offline. I've been keeping a loose track on what we've been doing. Were definately doing better than the 55 posts, but we could use more to be on the safe side.

Between July 17th and today we've had 286 posts... so for 3 weeks that averages out to 95 posts a week... so were cutting it close right now.

It's been far too long since we've posted on a board together regularly.

95 is a much better average for the last three weeks, but we're still having to average that in with the 55 we had earlier. So, if we hope to make it above 100, we need to continue bringing our numbers up. And keep them stable.

As it now turns out, any board that doesn't have any activity at all for two days is going to have its mods sent a warning. If it continues, and traffic doesn't keep up on the board, it is going to be closed.

Now, at the moment, I don't think we've had that problem. A month or two ago would have been a different story, and I would have been pushing to pimp this thing like crazy.

I'm still going to do that. I love receiving PMs (feel free to drop me something random whenever ;x ) but fear PMs warning my board may be closed. It hasn't happened yet, so lets keep it that way.

And thank you to everyone who's kept up so far. This isn't just my board, it's yours. So we all have the power to keep it alive.
