I'm on a nostalgia rewatch and I just finished episode 2x18, they were so perfect. 15 years later and I'm still not over them not getting a happy ending.

Jake was just the best for Peyton.

Oh, he definitely was the best for her.

I'll always have a big soft spot for the whole S2, it is when their story happened.

Now I want to do a rewatch!

Oh yeah, back then in S2, if it wasn't for Nikki problems... I'm sure they would made it. But Jake was a father and had to put Jenny's needs before his own... and then in S3 he really did think he wasn't what Peyton wanted and needed.

Too much time had passed, I think.

I still cannot believe they had her reunite with Jake just so he could tell her she should be with Lucas bc she said his name in her sleep.
