He was definitely the first one that was nice to him, & didn't get involved with any of the things Nathan was up to

Yeah, & even though I love the J/P stuff in season 2 & 3, I was kinda sad that the writers seemed to forget that Jake was close to Lucas too

Me too, it doesn't make sense to me that he wouldn't at least keep in touch with some of them

I love that moment in the rivercourt there, I bet lots of people started shipping them right then!

I agree. It would have been great to see him as a part of the gang. I have wished after he left he would have still contact with Peyton.

I was not a big OTH watcher, but I watched enough, to, say Jake and Peyton were the most believable and best couple IMHO.

I really enjoyed watching their scenes together
