The angst should have been centered around the couples themselves and not the third parties. Nanny Carrie and Lindsay were unneeded for the angst in S5 imo.

Lindsay was amazing for me in S5 bc Lucas was better with her IMO, never liked Leyton... so for me, the fact that they made him moved on in the show was good, the only bad 3 parts was nanny carrie

How was Luke better with Lindsay? He couldn't write, was still bitter about Peyton not turning to Booksigning/turning down his proposal and was constantly looking at photos thinking about what could have been with Peyton. Lindsay herself pointed that he was much happier before they met and he was clearly in an shell of himself in S5. Luke was way more comfortable with Brooke and that's saying a lot considering the way he acted with he was with her.

Yeah, he was never really in his relationship with Lindsey. Seemed to me he was only with her because she was the safe option. She deserved better.

I liked the earlier Nathan/Haley angst surrounding his injury and the fallout of that. It was a pretty organic story, imo. Nanny Carrie, as much as I love Torrey, was annoying.

I loved LES so I'm biaised and from day 1, never liked Lucas/Peyton so I liked Brooke/Lucas sorta I know he wasnt happy but mainly bc Peyton was not good for him and neither was Brooke IMO

Naley has always been my number 1 love I liked that they were ending since day 1.

I don't think Brooke was good for anyone most of the time. Didn't help that the writers never acknowledged her faults.

I hate Lucas and Lindsay, but that's my personal opinion. I love Lucas/Peyton and like Brooke/Lucas too. I have always loved Naley from day one though, they were such a constant throughout the show.

Lucas wasn't happy with Lindsay because she wasn't good for him, it's not Peyton's fault that Lindsay did such an lousy job in that department. Lindsay dumping him at the altar in front of his friends and family so much worse than Peyton ever did to him but it really doesn't seem since Luke barely seemed to care about at all. The whole storyline was just unneeded imo and not doing another triangle would have been better for Luke and Peyton's character since all the LL stuff didn't nothing good for his character.

I loved Lindsay so you will never make me hate her SL with Lucas since I'm a huge LES and I will always disagree with you on that point.

Triangles are always not fun like the S7 stuff with the blackmail/pregnancy stuff I was like, not again!!!I needed my NH happy and no drama!

I don't mind Lindsay as a character but all the LL stuff was pretty cringy worthy imo due to the lack of chemistry and nothing good came out out of it for Luke's character.
