3.09 - How A Ressurection Really Feels.
Adorable face touching aside, this is scene really shows how good of friends they are.
Haley sees that Brooke is sad, and she does her best to cheer her up, telling her that Lucas
isn’t the only thing in her life; that she’s very talented and she should do something
with that talent. The smile on Brooke’s face when she asks Haley if she’d help her really
shows how much Brooke appreciates having such a great friend to make her feel better.
The super cute fist pound is just icing on the cake and solidifies their friendship.



3.03 - First Day On A Brand New Planet.
Up until this point, Brooke and Haley never took each other seriously.
For the first time, Brooke really realizes how torn up Haley is about Nathan and their broken marraige.
Instinctively, Brooke pulls her into a hug and just wants to do anything in her power to comfort her.
Haley is very reluctant at first, but reluctantly gives into the hug (as she does the friendship!)
as Brooke tries to relate to Nathan and offers a few kind words of advice.



1.06 – Every Night Is Another Story.
Their first scene. And what a great first scene it was. Brooke is high and Haley catches her
when she falls (metaphor much?) and gets stuck helping her to the car. The two girls had
never spoken a word to each other, but the fact that Haley was willing to stick around and help
crazy Brooke showed that she always had a bit of a soft spot for her. The feeling
was mutual when Brooke decides that they ‘should totally hang out more often’.
It may have taken pills to admit it, but Brooke immediately took a liking to Tutor Girl.



3.07 - Champagne for my Real Friends, Real Pain for my Sham Friends.
Sure, it's only a dream -- a silly one of Nathan's to be exact, but fan!girls around the world made
their joy known when the promo was first aired. Slashy undertones aside, the whole scene was
adorable from Haley's fishy pajamas and pouty look to Brooke's 'So you wanna make out?'
Our only complaint? There was no girl on girl action. Hey, this thread never claimed not to be dirrty.



4.04 – Can’t Stop This Thing We’ve Started.
It’s not so much the scene itself, but the idea behind it. Haley was pregnant, but wasn’t ready
for everyone to know, and Brooke was willing to take the heat for her, even though it
meant that everyone in school thought she was knocked up and contemplating abortion.
It shows just how close they are and how much they’re willing to do for the other, and it’s
nice that Brooke tells Haley that she ‘can’t be pregnant anymore’ as opposed to just
announcing that Haley is the one that’s pregnant to the whole world (at least not until next week).
It’s also sweet that Haley offers to take drunken Brooke home.

1.06 - Every Night is Another Story.
The first time Brooke and Haley every interacted and Brooke wasn't even
in the right state of mind. That's when you know that the ride these two will take will be
anything but ordinary. Such a light hearted and fun episode all around. So who didn't
chuckle when Brooke named Haley ... Brooke and asked her why she didn't fill up the tank?
This will always remain a classic BH scene.



4.02 – The Things You Forgot At Birth.
The scene plays totally differently when the truth of Haley’s pregnancy is known, but the
sentiment is still the same; one of them has a big problem and they’re confiding in the other.
The fact that Brooke was the first to know about Haley’s pregnancy (and it stayed
that way for four episodes) is proof of their strong friendship and how much they
trust each other. Brooke is so going to be Godmother.



3.01 - Like You Like an Arsonist.
Definitely a BH fan favorite, this is the very moment that begin Brooke and Haley's friendship.
When the odds were stacked against Haley, when all of her friends and her husband
couldn't forgive her for leaving on the tour of contrivance Brooke was the only one to give her a
place to stay. She was the only one who didn't judge her and didn't have any pity for her.
That single act of compassion is the reason these two are so close today.



4.01 - The Same Deep Water as You.
Brooke and Haley have such an understanding and a comfort level with each other that
Brooke knew Haley was pregnant, kept it to herself, and went to seek out Haley to help
her through this tremendous ordeal she must be going through. When the news that Haley
was infact pregnant, Brooke was scared for Haley, and the only thing she could do in that one
moment to provide comfort for Haley was reach for her hand and hold her tight.
With that, Haley knew that Brooke is someone she can lean on within the coming weeks.



3.17 – Who Will Survive and What Will Be Left of Them.
Not the most ideal goodbye scene, but with everything that was going on around them,
it’s semi understandable. These girls had been each other’s support system for the past
however many months and suddenly it was going to be gone, and it was a big loss on
top of another loss. While their wasn’t any big, emotional words said, that’s because
it wasn’t a real goodbye; their friendship wasn’t going to end simply because they didn’t live
together anymore. They’re best friends now, and no address was going to change that.
