LOL, Mal, Whit and I are discussing this very topic right now. There was definite tongue action in the covert kiss.

My favorite scene of the episode would have to go to Haley running into Nathan's arms at the end of the competition. That was adorable, and Lucas getting completley ignored only added to how much I loved it.

The kids :

Nathan and Haley sitting in a tree... - "I'm already late." "Be later." - I was yelling at my tv, "Be later, BE LATER!!" Haha, I'm officially crazy. So happy they're back to being a "normal" teenage couple. And when she jumped into his arms after the competition... [img]smilies/innocent.gif[/img] I was oh so happy.

Brooke the cheer nazi - I [img]smilies/love.gif[/img] her. And I can totally see where she's coming from, throwing herself into something to get Peyton & Lucas outta her head. I feel for the girl. And she made me laugh too. It was sad to see them come home after the weekend, and have reality smack them in the face, but it happens. That was the best thing about the episode IMO. It was so realistic, and made me reminisce about my high school days. And seeing her rip that picture up at the end broke my little heart.

Jake - Chica chica bow bow...OMG I love this boy. Can I have his children? I love fun!Jake. We need to see more of him. When he was with the boys at the strip club he was sooo cute. My love for this boy grows every episode. And he wears my old number! Coincidence? I think not!

Tim - Peeing in the ice machine [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] Genius! I have a new found love for this boy. Brooke grabbing his ear, "Psycho Brooke told you to leave her squad alone."

Peyton - I liked Peyton getting up in that b*tch's face and kinda defending Brooke. It shows some progress. But not too much that I don't believe it.

LucAss - Okay, telling Haley she looked rediculous was a little harsh...ok, I would've kicked his ass. But I can almost see where he's coming from. He misses his best friend, and I've been there. But he needs to stop being a jackass, and he's been taking steps in the right direction. I give him props for that.

Mouth - Perfect. He totally tok this episode to a whole other level and it was great. I hope he gets a lil more screen time, he's stellar.

The adults :

Keith/Dan - Dan's an ass. I can't believe it. Well, yeah I can. And that cardboard cut out...whoa.

Karen and Poppa Peyton - Eh...I don't know. It was fun seeing Karen in her old element. I don't really have feelings on these two yet.

Whitey - Oh how I love you. He was too funny this ep, yelling at K/L, surprising Lucas at the pool, and all he did was just simply wonderful [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

The group as a whole - We need to have more episodes like this, everyone chillen together. When they were at the strip club the poor guys had no idea where to look! I loved it. The pool scene, great. Tim telling Nathan to stop...priceless. Haley juggling the Scott brothers...oh what I would give to be in her shoes! Oh, and the Nathan/Lucas remote fight was totally me and my roommate last year. Let me tell ya it was not pretty. [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img]

OMG I loved this episode. It had me laughing so hard and the N/H love was great. Nathan was so cute with wanting Haley to ride with him and spend all their time together.

And even though I don't like LucASS I understand where he was coming from with havong no one to hang out with. Although he was taking Haley for granted and once Brooke and Peyton were out of the picture he started his pity pary.

But back to the original comment, this epi was off the chain.

Hey guys!

I've been kind of absent from the board for the last week because my computer had a meltdown and completly wacked out. I lost everything on my computer and had to start from scratch. Thank god I backed up any OTH files or I would have shot myself. LOL. But on to the episode.

It was so great. Back to the good old OTH. I don't even know where to start. Well, obviously Nathan and Haley. Adorable. I loved the covert kissing. Stupid Lucass interupting! But Nathan was so cute in that scene. And Haley was looking so good. I loved the way Nate reacted to Haley in the cheerleading uniform. I hope that Haley fills in again sometime. I thought she was one of the best ones out there.

And we finally saw Theresa again. I thought she had died for sure. And Brooke as the CheerNazi was funny. That completly reminded me of Isable on Roswell as the Christmas Nazi. LOL. I have such respect for that girl. And even though Peyton did some nice things tonight I understand Brooke's side. I don't forgive her myself...yet.

The only reason I am liking Peyton at all right now is because of Jake. He is so cute!! I loved the little "bam chica bow wow. you ladies order room service." Porn joke. Classic. I really see the chemistry in their relationship. They so need to hook up.

Didn't really have that much to think about Lucass tonight. Ever since he did what he did to Brooke, I have lost all respect for him. I really hope that changes because I did love him once. The only one thing I can think of is how he treated Haley like crap tonight. I wanted to reach through the TV and slap him when he said she looked ridiculous. That was so mean!!

And lastly, how much do I love Mouth. He was the sweetest thing I ever saw tonight. I don't know who is funnier as a cheerleader, him or Tim. Actually, Mouth is. He was doing the moves so well. I thought he was a riot. I can't wait to see more of him next week. Brooke and him are funny together. And whatever happened to Jimmy? I have been wondering about that for a while now. Oh well.

I can't believe I only slept a few hours. I really need to go back to bed lol.

I still have to go back and catch up on the thread, but just wanted to say that I really was glad to see some balance restored last night. Hopefully that continues. I really enjoyed seeing the secondary characters getting some quality air time as well.

And other than N/H, which I never stop being greedy for, I really loved the J/P scene as well. Totally feeling it between those two tonight.

I'll have more thoughts on N/H later..


Oh, and did anyone catch that they totally reused the same clip of Nathan/Jake/Lucas in the bleachers? They used it once after the competition AND after Brooke won her trophy. Very same clip. Sorry if someone else already pointed it out. I need to read through the board and go back to bed again.

What an amazing episode... I thought it was great that we actually got to see some NH cuteness! I still can't get over how great Mouth was. He totally rocked with his cheerleading dance. I thought it was such a great episode, hopefully they can end the season with them all being this good.

Not much to add to everyone's comments - I loved this episode as much as you all! Favorite scene was definitely the thread title, she was absolutely adorable. Alot of great lines, and I laughed more than I have for any other episode. Mouth=too hilarious! Great performance from Lee. And -please don't flame me for this- one of my favorite lines was "I always wanted a little brother then I found out about you and got over that real fast". [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] In the context of the scene it wasn't meant to be funny, but I thought it was nevertheless.

I'll have to catch up on all the commentaries tonight.
