I love the friendship between Peyton and Haley because they were always h o n e s t with each other.
Peyton was the first girlfriend Haley ever had, and Haley was a true friend to Peyton when she was
surrounded by the popular crowd that didn't know her or even c a r e about her. The special bond of
music that they share is so b e a u t i f u l, and their friendship is the best to watch played out on screen.

I love PH because, right from Season 1, they c l i c k e d. Peyton turned to Haley when she felt she couldn't
turn to anyone else. They are connected through their love of music, which I feel d e e p e n s their friendship.
Yes, there were hard times in Season 3 but I think that made their friendship stronger. I love how at the end
of Season 5 PH were l e a n i n g on each other completely and helped each other through their rough times.

I love PH because I feel that they have the most n a t u r a l chemistry on the show. I think the real life
friendship between Joy and Hilarie really shines through in all of their scenes. Like Joy said, Hil is
her f a v o r i t e person to work with, and it truly shows. Peyton was Haley's first real girl friend and
Haley understands Peyton like no one else really can. They both just have this understanding of one
another that is so genuine and e f f o r t l e s s and it's a pleasure to watch.

I love the PH f r i e n d s h i p because, to me, it is the most genuine and real friendship on the show;
no matter how small the scenes are that we get there is so much c h e m i s t r y between Hil/Joie
and the quality of the scenes are right there.

I've enjoyed watching the friendship between Haley and Peyton grow since early in season 1.
They started out as the most unlikely of friends, but we were able to see a bond d e v e l o p and flourish.
Whether talking about m u s i c, boys, or their own thoughts and problems; they truly have
come to rely on one another. Watching two girls come from such different backgrounds
to create an almost sisterly bond has been a h i g h l ig h t of the show for me.

HALEY: Yeah. You know, he um… said he needed some help.
PEYTON: Maybe you could teach him to stop being such a jackass.
HALEY: I will… put that on my lesson plan.
PEYTON: Just be careful, okay.
HALEY: Yeah… sure.
PEYTON: Does Lucas know you’re helping Nathan?
PEYTON: You know… you say a lot when you keep your mouth shut.
HALEY: I’m… okay.
PEYTON: I'll keep mine shut too.

PEYTON: So you didn’t answer my question. Do you like him?
HALEY: It- it doesn’t matter. I mean, that… it would be too weird around Lucas.
PEYTON: That’s his problem. You’ve got a life to live too.
HALEY: It just seems kind of selfish.
PEYTON: Why? Did he ask you if he could go out with me?

Peyton: Look, it’s not like you need my permission or anything, but if you like Nathan, it’s totally cool. Just be really careful.
Haley: Be careful. Yes, I know. You told me.
Peyton: Okay.
Haley: You be careful, too.
Peyton: With which one?
Haley: Driving. My mother likes it when I get home alive. Let’s go.

PEYTON: You said that you were disappointed in Lucas for betraying Brooke and I just figured you felt the same way about me.
HALEY: Actually, no I don’t. I know what it’s like to need Lucas in your life.
PEYTON: I never let myself need anybody. Ever. Not since my mom died. But with Lucas, he looks at me and he really sees me. You know? Just right down into my soul.
HALEY: I just want to tell him that I love him and I’m sorry.
PEYTON: I just want to tell him I’m in love with him.
HALEY: Yeah.

PEYTON: Haley, come on. Do you remember when I made you those flyers for open mic night?

Anyway, she... she was working on the chapter about the shooting, and she said to me, "I want this to be Lucas' best writing... the best he has in him... because Peyton deserves it. HALEY: RealLy? What about when I write my music. Somehow my subconscious always ends up sneaking into my lyrics somewhere and I dont even notice it until the songs done. I think Lucas is the same way with his writing.
PEYTON: Well I watched him up on that alter and it's very clear to me where his heart lies. And if I can see it I'm not really sure why Lindsey can't. You know? It's unfair to Luke. He loves her.
HALEY: I think she's just afraid of the idea of you, your history with him. Think of how youd feel if the roles were reversed.

HALEY: It was terrifying not knowing where Jamie was. Sometimes I just wanna lock him up and homeschool him.
PEYTON: That's my plan. I mean, in like the future when I need a plan.
HALEY: Oh my god! You're pregnant!
PEYTON: I don't know what you're talking about.
HALEY: Your pregnant! I have dibs on godmother!

HALEY: Oh hey, you're baby proofing. Don't forget the laundry room. Jamie used to take naps in the dryer.
PEYTON: Yeah I got it. The toilet, the cuboards, fridge. What else does a baby get into?
HALEY: Your heart.
PEYTON: Oh. I love it. Thanks.
HALEY: I saw you registered for a boning knife and I figured that was more practical for a newborn. How you holding up?
I dont know. One minute I'm shopping and the next I feel like I'm gonna cry. Tell me thats normal.
HALEY: Just remember, things are never as bad as you think they are, even though your hormones are trying to convince you otherwise.
PEYTON: I know, I know. I just keep telling everybody that I'm okay. But doing all this baby stuff just really makes me wish that Lucas was here. And I've gt this doctor's appointment tomorrow that I really want him to go to but he's so busy with the movie.
HALEY: Well if you want him to go why dont you just tell him?
PEYTON: I did. I told him him last week. But with everything that's going on hes... hes swamped. And, I dont want to be a nag.
HALEY: I think you should nag him anyway. That boy needs it.
PEYTON: Thanks. And thanks for being so good with Luke, you make everything better for us.

HALEY: Mia, when you started out did you want to make great records or not bad records?
MIA: Great records.
PEYTON: Great records.
HALEY: Good. So that's what well do. We'll make a great record. And if the label can't hear it then they can argue with Peyton.
MIA: Oh, I like this team.

PEYTON: The song they are really crazy about is feel this by Haley James Scott.
HALEY: Dude, you totally thudded me.
PEYTON: Right, I'm sorry. I didnt know I was supposed to be promoting your career.
HALEY: Well, it depends on what they said.
PEYTON: They said, they want more. And they're really excited about the new promotional angle.
HALEY: Which is what exactly?
PEYTON: Singing maveric teacher that punched out the principal and slept with a student.
HALEY: I never hit anyone! And the other thing was seven years ago, I was his tutor.

HALEY: Jeez and I thought brooke was in a dark place.
PEYTON: Oh god, I didn't realize how late it had gotten
got a little carried away drawing. Whats up?
HALEY: I don't think ive been honest with you. One of my classes came over today, and I realized that the reason I've been dragging my heels when it comes to committing to my next record is that I really love teaching.
PEYTON: Well you may feel different when you're teaching to an entire stadium of students with your music. And besides, you still have a really great student in Mia. You did a wonderful thing in discovering her. And it makes me feel really good to know that you're always gonna be there to guide her.
HALEY: Well so will you.
PEYTON: Well yeah, but, I mean, when the baby comes I'm not gonna be around as much.
HALEY: We're still a team though, right?
PEYTON: Of course.[/I]

PEYTON: Hey, I'm gonna need your help with something.
HALEY: Anything.
PEYTON: Finish producing Mia's album.
HALEY: Of course.
PEYTON: Because you are the one that discovered her in the first place.
HALEY: Well, we both did. We're a team, remember?
PEYTON: I'll be there in spirit. Deal?
HALEY: Deal. I will take care of Mia and you will take care of my niece. Or nephew, but I'm hoping for a niece.
PEYTON: Thank you.
HALEY: You're welcome.

HALEY: Hey we're a team. You can't come to the studio so...
MIA: We brought the studio to you.
HALEY: Sorry, but in spirit just wouldn't do.

HALEY: Knock, knock. I brought you this months issue of Brooke Davis magazine.
PEYTON: Our ceiling fan does a 147 rotations a minute.
HALEY: Wow, that answers my questions about how mama's doing. Hows baby?
PEYTON: Baby is kicking baby growing ass. Doctor says we're doing good.
HALEY: Good. That's what auntie Haley likes to hear. Good job in there kiddo.
PEYTON: So, I got an interesting call from the label this morning.
HALEY: Oh, let me guess, they want Mia's album like last week, which by the way is gonna be fantastic, which is unbiased even though I'm the producer.
PEYTON: Okay. The call wasn't about Mia. They wanna buy one of your songs. I guess they have an artist that heard it and fell in love with it and blah blah blah.
HALEY: Wow uh... I never thought about selling my songs.
PEYTON: Okay, well from the way they were raving about you, you might want to start thinking about it.

#48 - Episode 622

HALEY: It's a baby memory book for photos and journal entries and all that stuff. you'll look at it five years from now and never believe they were that small.
BROOKE: You okay?
PEYTON: I love it. And I just want you guys to know, that I love you so much
BROOKE: We love you too.

#49 - Episode 623

HALEY: Peyton Sawyer will become Peyton Scott. Lucas wrote this in the eigth grade. I remember him talking about her constantly, and not just in the eighth grade, but in the 9th grade and the 10th grade and 11th grade, and finally, in our Junior year, Lucas gathered up his courage and talked to Peyton for the firsttime right here at this lake. And she was a bitch. And he said, "Haley! I talked to her!" When I asked him if the fantasy was finally over and if he could finally admit that Peyton Sawyer was human after all he said, "No. Peyton Sawyer in not human. She's an angel and she's my angel." I believe in true love. I believe in love at first sight. I believe that love concurs all. That doesn't mean there's not gonna be hard days or difficult things to deal with because there will be. But finding that person who does it for you and knowing that that person loves you back, it just makes everything so much easier. "Peyton Sawyer will become Peyton Scott." That was the dream and here we are ten years later and we all get to witness today a dream come true.
