It could have, it always seemed like they were meant to have more. There was a lot of wedding foreshadowing & they both wanted families too

We will never know what could have been, not really.

I choose to believe things between LP didn't work out and BL reunited like it was meant to be from the start.

I'd rather just ignore the later seasons all together, because I really wasn't over the moon with who Brooke became. She wasn't the character I loved anymore.

It was such a sweet & touching scene after everything that happened. Lucas knew that he had a lot in his life to be thankful for, & he couldn't take them for granted or he would lose them. & Brooke was still the biggest part of his world
