Im having a serious 'moment' Its like I want them to be together so much but friankly by the way Lucas has been acting better I cant help but think she deserves so much more than the way hes acting right now, if they get together...he has to go back to the way he was! I dont think I could handle it if he treating Haley like he does Peyton and Brooke.

I agree. I want Haley to be with the old Lucas. It looks like he's starting to go back to that...althought i'm disappoint with him having another new girl so quickly! [img]smilies/frown.gif[/img] I don't think we have anything to worry about with Lucas treating Haley like Peyton or Brooke. I really think that he would never do that to her because she is way to important to him to risk losing her forever.

I agree, Lit. Lucas would never do that to Haley; she means too much to him. Hopefully the old Lucas comes back, at least by the second season. In order for him to do that, he has to apologize to a lot of people. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

I ship Haley with old Lucas as well -- and all the fic I write of them together is of Lucas pre-cheater, because the writers have near destroyed his character and the only place we have to look for the shadow of the amazing guy he was is to the early episodes. Same here. i loved LH from the first episode because Lucas was a great guy and Haley was/is great. But now Lucas is just an ass. I still love their moments together, but its overshadowed by the fact that Lucas is beign a sheating ass.

I miss the old LUCAS!...i wish the writers would not totally destroy his character!...he needs to get back to his old self!..but probably this cheating habit has a purpose!...i dunno!..probably it will pave the way for lucas to realize that HALEY is the right one for him! (crossing my fingers!)

I'm sure there has to be some reason for the way he's acting. Personally I think that it's because before he started playing on the school team there weren't many girl wanting to date him. As soon as he joined he had Brooke and Peyton after him. I don't think he knew how to handle have two girl interested in him at the same time. In the beginning they kind of gave us the impression that he was more quiet and kept to himself (except for Haley and his friends who play bball with him on the court by the river.)
What ever happened to his love of reading? I'm kind of glad they aren't playing that up too much because it would be too much like Rory or Jess on gilmore girls. __________________

hey guys
yeah i do kind of miss lucas's love for books. i just dont think there was proper reason for lucas to act the way he is, because he was a good guy in the beginning. infact they practically shoved it down our throats that lucas was the good guy of the show. and now he's just not. yeah he's come out of his shell, but he should still have standards. haley's come out of her shell since dating nathan and all she's done is change her look, not her whole personality. its basically all in the name of dramam because there would be no triangle if lucas was a good guy. but they could have made him torn between the 2 instead of into a cheater! oh well, i guess we have to wait with our fingers crossed that he's able to redeem himself later. because altho people forget this nathan was a complete ass to peyton and did actually cheat one her (they showed a second of him kissing some other girl in the pilot) and everyone loves him now. |
