At first when she was throwing herself at Lucas i didn't really like her, but now that they've been dating I think she's mellowed out more. In my opinion I think that Brooke became a better person once she started dating him. It's like they switched roles or something.

I myself wasn't a Peyton OR a Brooke fan when the show first started, but after the ep when Brooke wanted to change things around for herself and for other people she'd hurt, she began to improve as a character, and I respected her immensely for it. I agree with Lit1586 that after she started dating Lucas she became more of a balanced and likable person, and I love her. Too bad Lucas doesn't see what he's trivializing with his behavior... I never not liked Brooke. Even at the start. But from the ep that she realised she wanted to change around, i loved her. she admitted her life was heading somewhere she didnt want it to be, and did something about it. And she doesn't just throw herself at Lucas. she is just affectionate and playful. you can see in everything she says about lucas that she really really cares for him.

people say that peyton has more of a connection with Lucas but i just dont see it.

but we prob shouldnt get into Brooke/Peyton discussion here since this is the thread for the other girl! lol.

i hope one thing we get from this triangle is that the writers have enough of it so when LH happen it is not a triangle situation.

Like I said before, if the writers ever did to Haley what they're currently doing to Brooke, heads would roll and I would never watch the show again. There would be no excuse for butchering my favorite character in such an unloving and heartless way, none whatsoever.

Sorry I think I was the one who got everyone on the Brooke/Peyton discussion. At least we know for sure the Lucas would never do anything like that to Haley. She's too important to him. I think she's the one girl who's heart is completely safe with him [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

yeah. i think haley is really important to him. i dont think he treats haley badly at all. even tho we mostly see haley being there for lucas, because he's the main guy, lucas inturn respects haley.

i still think he was really understanding about the whole NH thing and respected her decision.

I sure that he would be there in a second for haley. I kinda feel like she was the reason the he woke up because Nathan was there talking to him about Haley when he woke up. It's obvious to everyone how much they mean to eachother, even Brooke got up to give Haley her seat on the bed next to Lucas when she walked in. They have a great connection.

Well I finally got to see "I Shall Believe" the whole way through, and to be perfectly honest, it was my favorite ep of the season. I loved everything about it...except maybe, oh I dunno, Peyton [img]smilies/pout.gif[/img]...what she's doing with Lucas and what she does to Brooke is despicable, and all her preaching to Haley about best friends being important was complete sanctimonious bull****, because she has no place to talk when she's setting new presidence for how bad you can screw over the people you care about and still be considered human...but that's for another thread. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

What I really wanted to say one more time is how much I appreciated the Lucas/Haley ending -- [img]smilies/sigh.gif[/img]. I know there's no really calling dibs around here, but I wanted to know if I could start the next thread with possibly these titles:

~Because it's the two of them against the world
~Because she loves him
~Because he opened his eyes for her

I just really love this couple and have loved them since the pilot, and I wanted to be able to do my part as a loyal fan and all that... [img]smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img]

i never really thought of it that way before too..until i watched the episode again and again! (hehehe!)..when nathan said to Lucas "she needs you to wake up man.." or something like that..it kinda make sense..
