I feel they could've... but unforunately Peyton feelings for Lucas was the problem so I guess that's really the main reason it couldn't have worked.
But I do love Peyton for not giving up on love just because things with Lucas didn't work out. |

I personally think that Julian was the most believable option to be endgame from all of Peyton's relationships outside of Lucas, especially since they didn't seem to have any other issues besides her love of him.

Probably if they met at another time because yes, Julian pretty much had all the qualities for Peyton to fall in love with... the only quality he did not have was that he wasn't Lucas. If they met in another way ... in a world where Peyton wasn't still caught up on Lucas, I don't see how it wouldn't work. |

I just can't see it working at all. He's not the sort of person I could see her with long term. He may be the most likely of her canon love interests, but that's not saying much, tbh.
