I can take the heat that's going on outside what with it being 40 degrees with the humidex, but Ryan and Summer are so hot that it's so much for me to handle and I'm getting really hot!

I was watching the clips of them in The Debut and I love how in the last scene when Ryan walks in, she has her mouth hanging wide open. Oh my god that is so awesome! She still wanted him even after Marissa set him up with Anna!

She's like, Oh my god, I can't take his hotness but I can't stop myself from looking at him either

he has a habit of making her jaw drop & she has a habbit of leaving him stunned!

There was these things that make me wonder why it wasn't Ryan and Summer over Seth and Summer. I mean, the way they react over each other is amazing! Seth was the only one who had a good reaction to Summer but Summer was never like that with Seth imo.

yeah, Seth & Summer were really entertaining to watch, but I think they lacked....it's hard to find the word that I'm looking for, but I find it funny that people say Seth & Anna were like siblings bc to me, Seth & Summer would bicker like siblings, aside from him always hitting on her of course

I think Seth and Summer lacked...you know what? I can't think of the word either. I was going to say they lack the reactions they both should have for each other but I don't think that's it.

yeah, they had things in common - i don't have very much in common with my brothers, but we sure do bicker a lot

I can't think of it, tbh I think they were a good high school couple, but tbh I don't think they'd survive after high school, but hey it's tv so they did

I think Summer outgrew the relationship tbh, I mean if you look at season 3 as she catches him lying over & over again, I think she got to a point where she told him that she was tired of being mad at him & all that, & I think, that if the writers wanted to drop SS, maybe not for good, but in a way that audience felt like it would be a long time if ever that they got back together, then they would've been a good time to do it. Plus it would of set up R/S perfectly in season 4

Set it up so that there's more Ryan and Summer scenes in season 4 and it's showing them helping each other through Marissa's death like friends and, being that Seth and Summer would break up before then, they draw closer to each other (again

) but maybe hold back from each other. And I still think of that idea where he's watching her play in the water at the beach

that'd be awesome! Man, if only Josh had consulted us! I honestly think that if they'd done R/S & handled it well instead of just being like 'this will shock the audience' then it would of saved the show

I don't know about saving the show, considering I'm glad The OC was finished when it did. I remember on the OTH boards on IMDB someone was comparing OTH to The OC because it's still on, which makes it good.

OTH actually wasn't the same good show as it was after the fourth season. It's practically another show but with the same characters. It's more of a spin-off if you will. The OC ended still popular and it had more ratings than even Gossip Girl and 90210 and it had the same amount of ratings as the Vampire Diaries would, even in its 3rd season.

Right now I can see Ryan cuddling up with Summer, holding her so close to him, letting himself go and probably feeling weak at the knees from having her, with his face in her hair
