You know what's really funny? This is going to be the first time I'm ever watching The O.C. with somebody. All the times I've ever watched the show I was by myself.

Oh my gosh!

When they first look at each other, they're staring at each other!

And listen hard when Summer goes up to him. When she says "Hi", I can actually hear him say "Hey". Small thing but I like it. And she said "If you need a ride...or anything...I'm Summer." - Just saying, I like that too.

And I love how she's falling head over heels for him. I agree with what was said earlier by one of you guys that she only acted cold towards him because he was ignoring the moves she was making on him. Not to mention, she said she was going to play him hot and cold. And on top of that, she can't even remember this night. And in The Graduates, like I said before, she's not embarassed at all when she remembers that she invited only him to Holly's beach house.

Also, it seems just a bit odd that Ryan would smile after being asked by Seth if he should tell her about Tahiti, don't you think? Maybe?

yeah I love the staring! & I love her look, she wants him & she is gonna get him!

& I love the first time they talk & that he says hey, & the pause before she says I'm Summer, & then that smile!

& the way that he is just still as she walks away, just processing everything.

I think the Tahiti thing was just Ryan laughing at Seth's joke, & on a sidenote, I really like the Ryan/Seth friendship in this ep.

But R/S are still the highlight to me!

yeah, he was joking bc telling Summer at that point that he wanted to take her to Tahiti would be crazy!

Our love our ship's first meeting, considering they weren't a conventional ship, it's awesome that there's a vibe there & all the looks that she gives him

yeah definitely, they have looks all the time.

But I espcially love all her looks in the first meeting, all the flirtatious smiles & the way she kinda checks him out & is so not suttle about it

I don't think we ever saw Summer that flirtatious again
