I don't watch the show just watch Bonnie clips, so I have some questions.
Is Elena Human, if so does that mean she'll get older or just stay young until she wakes up?

To me it is hard to compare TVD to buffy. Buffy was hands down a better show but in that case it SMG wanted to leave and the show had no way of continuing without her because of how it was written BTVS was her story so it made sense.Also BTVS had pairings over the years their was angel and spike similar to demon and stefan but buffy was more about the fight with the vampires then pairings where TVD was more about pairings then what the recent bad guy is

In TVD case they have other characters and they are hoping or banking on the fact that fans will want to see the other characters story as much as they were in elania's story i am just not sure they have any pairing or s/l that would be able to go very far. Right now the only pairing they have is CS but i really not sure they have enough stay power for the fans that they are hoping for. I think if CS was introduced earlier in the series and they built them up as a couple or some interest there (not just friends) then maybe fans would jump to them but right now it seems they came out of left field and it looks like the shows attempt to hold on to this show. I don't know if CS has potential but i think fans will have a hard time getting on board with them the way that they did with DE the thing about DE is that they built them over the years right back to season one but they never really did that with CS. This is just my opinion and i guess we will see how successful they are next season

It looks like this is going to be more about stefan and damon then any pairing i am thinking they maybe more of how it was with them back in season 1 and for whatever reason lily wants to tear them apart

I may be insane but I sort of have hopes that if I just fast forward all the Elena scenes, this episode will actuallly be very enjoyable. All 10 minutes of it.

I was looking forward to the Kai/Bonnie fight but if Kai in the end gets the ultimate revenge on her that basically means he is going to win :( and I'm not here for that.

Lol also don't ask me why but I rewatched three of the last season 4 episodes with the beastly!Silas stuff and where he transformed into Klaus/Matt/Stefan/Caroline/etc. Fun times. But also poor April ... in retrospect I was feeling so bad for her :( always getting hurt.

I see, Andy is just trying to rile up shippers again.
