Unfortunately that isn't helping me roxanne :lmao: I wish it were, I just don't think the show needs a 6th, they are fine with 5 and the guest stars. I hate to see them start adding people, I don't even think I'd like it if they added someone I like.
if they use her more I would like to see Penny confiding in her but I get the feeling it will be Penny helping her and Howard like she is helping Sheldon and Amy and will probably find a gal for her to help Raj with some day,, hey maybe she will finally say "screw helping them with girls, I am going to help myself to Leonard! " :rotfl:

Even if they add Bernadette as a regular, I think it'll end up being more like a regularly appearing guest star, rather than trying to put her on the same level as the rest of the gang.

I'm wondering if maybe they upped her status partially to secure her availability? So they can avoid another out-of-the-blue breakup that's barely acknowledged.

Isn't there also some question about Sara Gilbert's availability now that she is hosting that talk show on CBS?

Her availability for Big Bang Theory doesn't really matter right now, though. She was only in one episode for the entire third season, and only one small scene within that episode.

So if the writers really want to bring her back for an occasional episode, they could probably work it out, but they haven't been doing anything with Leslie anyway.

Group episodes are my favorites. That's why I felt last season was so bad, they were all split up for most episodes.

Well, it took 4 episodes to do it but it looks like the writers are starting to move the characters forward at last.

So at the taping for the third episode, the episode they played for us before things got started was The Robotic Manipulation, the season 4 premiere.

And I've only just realized this tonight as I was thinking back over it, but they definitely cut out the whole awkward bit at the end of the second scene about Leonard and Penny's relationship, with Penny saying they weren't a great example, and Leonard trying to defend them and bringing up the snow cones... All cut.

I think this is the first time I'm glad something was cut, because it really was just too awkward.

I will trust your judgement Roxanne. You were there and watched the scene. That scene would have probably just annoyed me anyways. I hate when the writers make Leonard look pathetic when it's about Penny.

Yeah I want both of them to be strong and be friends again. Maybe a little pinning, but he did that the first two seasons. It would be nice to see Leonard have some self confidence and be ok with them being apart. The same goes for Penny, that she doesn't start dating losers and grows herself.

I don't think I was alone in the audience in finding it really awkward. From what I remember, there really wasn't much/any laughter as Leonard was talking about the snow cones, or when he asked Penny to take him back... Then the tension sort of broke with the Bazinga and people laughed, but mostly I think out of surprise.

Bill Prady just tweeted that the Final Draft for episode 5 sucks. Should be interesting at the taping tommorrow night Roxanne.

I think he's talking about the software Final Draft, used for writing and formatting scripts.
