I personally think Hilarie/Sophia had the best chemistry on the entire show and I would have loved seeing Peyton/Brooke falling for each other romantically. I wasn't around fandom that much back then... I just watched the episodes basically without an understanding of what the fandom was truly like... were there a lot of Emily/Maya shippers?

I don't like LP. they're def my least favorite couple from that show.

That's not necessarily true. I liked most of the main ships on GA back when I watched, but the writing was so unbelievably awful that it was impossible to enjoy and I stopped watching anyway

I completely agree. Lucas/Peyton was there from day 1 and I really loved their ending in season 6. It was a great ending for a pairing that was established from day 1. That comet never left them.

I love Brooke so much in season 5. She was mature and so awesome. I wish she would have found someone to match her greatness. I wasn't totally satisfied with who she ended up with. I am so with you on this!

It wasn't just Alyson, pretty much the entire cast & Joss couldn't stand SMG. Anthony Head takes the super bitchy prize for mentioning that his wife's ultimate threat to him when they argued was to say she would send him to Connecticut to work with men in spandex. (For those that don't know, after his acting career faltered Freddie Prince Jr worked for a few years as a writer for World Wrestling Entertainment.)

Interesting to see people talk about how Jack and Kate were always the obvious Lost endgame, since I remember halfway through the show a lot of Sawyer/Kate fans were quite confident in their ship, proclaiming on message boards that the triangle was over.

As for Buffy, I never heard about SMG being disliked. I have heard that Julie Benz was quite unpopular, and apparently particularly nasty to AH, which led to Darla being abruptly killed off and forgotten. But Benz cleaned up her act and was then brought back to the spinoff show Angel.

And it's no secret that SMG had problems before Buffy on All MY Children, to the point that when she won a Daytime Emmy she delivered a take that in her acceptance speech, saying "Now I have an Emmy and Susan Lucci doesn't."

As for Bianca Lawson, I had always assumed that her story was mapped out from the beginning,, with her death after Mona was outed and captured being the message to viewers that things weren't going to get better for the girls. Its kind of surprising that she came back for the Haloween special, if the show was such a bad experience for her. Though didn't she say something during the special about how we never found out whaty Maya was afraid of. I guess she hasn't been following the show since her departure.

I was a sporadic viewer of Lost cause the story was hard to follow but the love triangle was pretty heated cause like OtH I have friends on both sides it seemed to me when they put Sawyer/Juliette that it would be Jack/kate

Something has been bugging me. Back when Jason mentioned to Ali that were way more pictures of her growing up than him, people saw that as proof for the twin theory. Because the pictures were actually of two different girls, and that is why there was so many. But aren't twins usually photographed together. So shouldn't there be fewer pictures of Ali because the pictures would also include Bethany if she is Alis twin.

Anyway, assuming that Ali or possibly Mona does have a twin and there is a switch, how long can the girls not notice the switch before it becomes ridiculous. In the books, Courtney pulls off her switch by immediately dropping Aliis friends and forming a group with the liars, in part because they didn't know Ali.

And when Ali returns, she is introduced as Courtney, reveals herself to the girls as Ali and then reveals the truth about the twin switch all in one book, a fairly short time frame. And the liars believe her in part because she targets their weak points, so they desperately want to believe her. Telling Emily that she wants to be with her, telling Spencer that they can forget Courtney and Melissa and be each others real sister, and helping the recently ostracized Hanna take the popular girls down a peg or two. Arias weak point is her fear that Noel wants to be with Ali instead of her, so she is the holdout of the group and only comes back to them just before the final reveal.

And there are a couple of moments during the book where Ali makes a mistake that almost blows her cover. She is confused when Hanna starts talking about a memory from their past, and cant hide her amusement when Emily asks her to the dance.

That said, Courtney does manage to trick her family with no problem.

If they weren't raised together for most of their lives, there wouldn't be many pictures of them together.

They could easily be doing the same thing as the books in terms of the girls becoming friends, they have hinted at it, imo.

Alison coming back as Alison could just be the show doing things a little differently. If she'd come back the same way, it would have been obvious.

We had a moment like that with Jason, where she remembered a family trip differently to how he did.
