I’m sensing some hostility from Wish Henry.

So much to love about this episode. It was fantastic. The opening sequence was classic Once with a twist. Love they brought back the prophecy from the seer. And all the little nods to the prior seasons. Cruella flirting with Henry like she did Charming. Ariel, Pan, and the Apprentice. Naveen and Tiana reminded me of Snowing. Was Remy the mouse from Ratatouille? And now Curious Archer have gone to Storybrooke.

Seriously though. The last finale of the series ever, and the writers choose to focus on an alternate world that they only came up with last season? *sigh*
What’s wrong with the actual realm where all the original characters came from? __________________

I just hope this merging of the realms and Regina becoming Queen doesn’t mean Elsa Merida or Tiana have to pass rule of their own kingdoms onto her.
That would be ridiculous. Every land cannot be ruled by just one person. Being mayor of a town is one thing. But this is beyond even her capabilities. I don’t know why villains always want to rule the world. They’d never get a day off. They’d be overworked and miserable. __________________

And by the way, they have not put the scenes of Wish Grumpy, Wish Blue or Wishbone granny in the episode. Including Snowing statue. Looks like they made a big change by cutting it out, just like they did with last weeks ep.

It felt like a very throwback to the good old days of Once. It was a great penultimate episode. |

I liked it but the cameos from Pan and all really just seemed added up. For an episode that mainly takes place in a Realm I don't really like I thought they managed it just fine. Is is the best to end the series like this I don't know but there is enough material for the original characters to work with especially in the next one so I'm fine.
Already one left tho |
