Thanks for that. It never crossed my mind that the Coven or Gothel would have any tie-in to earlier seasons but now we know for sure.

I mean, ok episode 1x02, The Thing that You Love the Most. There was a coven of sorts of there when Regina was trying to cast the original dark curse.

Don't know if this means anything or she was just having fun. I notice her clothes are Roni's, but her hair looks more like Regina.

ETA: Looks like 7x18 is just wrapping up. Daniel Francis mentioned on his instagram stories that he filmed with Lana and Bobby. Emma Booth and Rose were also filming per their instagram stories and Colin was in the background of Emma's. Since 7x19 is Gothel's centric, I'm guessing they are already working on 7x19.

Emma Booth posted today that she will be in Vancouver for 2 more weeks so Gothel is probably sticking around through ep 20.

ETA: Also looks like Blackbeard might be back.

We don't know yet, and I doubt it will be announced publicly anytime soon anyway as it's pretty spoilery. But I believe she'll be in the finale since the writers said some familiar faces from the past six seasons will appear in it, and Emilie wants to come back.
