Specific filming spoilers (from PJisaDILFat the CW lounge):

"My friend and I extraed last monday and were in a scene with Haley, Lucas, and Jamie. It was in the tutoring center. The little kid was sitting at a table drawing a picture and Haley and Lucas were whispering about whether Lucas should take him for awhile because Nathan is beginning to be a bad influence on him and he's incompetent at parenting right now. At first Haley doesn't agree but after awhile it seems that she's starting to consider it. Joy looks like she's going to cry by the end of the scene.

Another scene we did was of Haley and Lucas going home when the school day was over. We were walking under that like underpass thing outside of the school that says Whitey Durham Fieldhouse and they were talking about how Lucas had spoken to Brooke that morning on the phone. Chad was smiling. The little kid was walking with them holding Haley's hand. Once they reached the parking lot it looked like Haley was talking to Jamie and eventually he got into Lucas's car."

Specific Filming News from ktbug834 (OTH Forums) for 5.01:

"I saw filming late at night on the 8th. There was a bus stop with clothes over bros poster and a NY poster. The first scene shot was Brooke and new boyfriend coming out of a limo. Then later they filmed the limo dropping the new boy off and him looking mad and then calling a taxi. After that they went to the other side of the building where there was "The Storm" posters. Extras had to line up and yell brookes name and brooke walked a red carper then got into a limo. After that it was around 1 in the morning and they hosed down the street and did a scene of Peyton driving down the road. She was wearing the same dress as ive seen her wearing in pictures of peyton and lucus on the river court (the green one)."

Specific Spoilers from Taylor for 5.01:

"The first was Skills, Fergie, and Junk playing basketball while Mouth watched. Then Lucas walks up with Jamie and Skills says, “There he is the, game James!” and he throws the ball to him. Jamie dribbles and shoots and Skills blocks the shot. Lucas then asks for the ball and it looked like he was telling Skills not to be so hard on Jamie so when Lucas throws the ball in to Jamie he dribbles and shoots again but this time Skills helps him make the shot.

The second scene was Lucas on the Rivercourt, and they took different angles of Chad’s face and then zoomed into the court and the basketball goal.

The third scene they shot was on the call sheet referred to as “Lucas finds Peyton.” Peyton is on the Rivercourt looking at what looks like the faded names and Lucas walks onto the court when they see each other. They pause and stare at each other. From there they walk slowly (almost looked like slow motion) towards each other and talk. Peyton reaches in for a hug and Lucas stops her. He looks hurt and she looks like she understands why.

The fourth scene was Peyton sitting on the picnic table at the Rivercourt remembering back (this is most likely where the break up scene will show up)."

5.01 Side Summaries:

Side for Mark:

The first part of the side is Lucas/Haley/James (with Skills and the boys at the end) and Lucas is telling Haley how he’s been giving Nathan grief for not “being on his feet yet.” Haley admits that he’s been pretty dark lately, and Lucas tells her she has to push him. Jamie comes bounding in and tells his mom that he’s ready. Lucas asks what about him, and Jamie says bye to his Uncle Lucas. Lucas says bye to Jamie, and that he loves him, and they hug. Then Jamie says he has to go home now, and that Lucas should be writing. It’s evident from Skills and the guys’ laughs that they put Jamie up to the last part.

Brooke is being interviewed by Mark McGrath at a red-carpet event, with Lydia described as “hovering nearby.” Mark begins by mentioning Clothes/Bro’s, and then asks Brooke if she still enjoys dressing up for things like this, even though she makes clothes for a living. Brooke says absolutely, and she likens it to someone in the music industry still “feeling a tingle” when they see a live show.

Scene cuts to Peyton, with Brooke doing a voiceover, and it continues that people in the music industry probably love music to make a career of it. Peyton is walking downtown on the Sunset strip passing by rock clubs. She also passes by a table of used books, and finds a paperback copy of Lucas’ novel.

Brooke’s voiceover then continues that people that write for a living probably still love curling up with a good book. We cut to Lucas, who is sitting at his computer, his cursor blinking, and words are not able to come. Brooke’s voiceover talks about how they (writers) still have deadlines “and the like.”

We cut back to Brooke and her interview. She says that fashion is like that for her; she still gets chills when the house lights go down for a fashion show. Mark says that was a good answer, and then asks her if she doesn’t ever miss just being young? Brooke replies that she is young. Mark then clarifies that he meant acting young; not being the boss of a huge corporation, but being Brooke Davis, a 21 year old girl. He has struck a nerve, it is apparent. Brooke answers that sure, she misses it. Lydia then steps in.

Side for Lydia, executive at Clothes Over Bro's:

It's at night. Brooke and Nick enter a limousine and find Lydia there waiting for them. She is described as a "no nonsense" and "fashionable" woman in her 50's. She asks them about the movie and Nick starts to answer that he liked the movie but Lydia kind of cuts him off. Brooke complains about the paparazzi, but Lydia states that they pay them to ask Brooke about her clothing line. Lydia hopes that Brooke was nice to them.

The limo stops and Lydia asks Nick to get out and he is confused. She tells him that he isn't really sleeping with "her designer." That's just what they want the tabloids to think. She pushes Nick out of the limo, and Brooke is shocked but then laughs a little. Brooke tells Lydia that she is so rude.

Lydia looks over the next day's schedule. She tells Brooke that there is an interview at 9 tomorrow, and that she needs to look beautiful and talk about her creativity and passion. Then Lydia tells her that there has been a change in the model rotation. Brooke scans the new list and notices that someone is missing. Brooke states that the missing model is her friend, but Lydia corrects her and says that she's an employee not a friend. Then Lydia remarks that her friend's life is out of control and she looks like crap. Brooke seems hesitant. Lydia asserts that Clothes Over Bro's is a multi-million dollar organization and Lydia is paid as an executive to make decisions. Brooke asks her if she is going to fire her friend, and Lydia says that she isn't but Brooke is. The limo stops and Lydia gets out, but before she leaves, she says that it's Brooke's company. She just works for it. Brooke looks worried.

Side for Lindsey, Lucas's editor:

The setting is Lindsey's office during the day. Her office is busy and cluttered. She is described as pretty, smart, and driven. Lucas enters her office. Lucas apologizes for missing his deadine. He realizes that she has people who are counting on her and it's not fair to her. Lucas sees a copy of his first novel on her coffee table. Before Lucas says anything else, Lindsey recalls the time when she first read his novel. She says that she read it cover to cover and she says that it spoke to her. She felt like she knew him before she knew him. Lindsey tells him that it was a great first novel, but authors are known for their body of work. It's been two years since Luke has written that novel, and it scares her because he's not writing at all. Seriously, Lucas asks for more time. Then he lightheartedly says that she could give him more time because he's cute and she has the hots for him. Lindsey isn't amused. She tells him that he takes advantage of her. She is being serious. She basically tells him to leave which he does.

Side for Dave, Peyton's boss in LA:

Dave is described to be in his 40's and losing his hair.
In the morning: Peyton is the assistant to the assistant of the label president. During her first encounter with Dave (her boss), she was sitting on his desk doing boring stuff..updating online downloads reports and call sheets. She recommends unsigned bands the label should sign and Dave turns her down and wasn't interested. As she was leaving his office, Dave calls her back and tells her she looks nice and to "drop a button on that top" and he will let her sit on the next day's new music session. Peyton obliges.

In the evening: They signed an artist that Peyton refers to as horrible and she asked why she was signed. Dave gives this lame explanation about making an artist "look hot." And Peyton responds by saying how we're making the world a dumber place. They talk about how long Peyton's been in LA. She said 4 years and she came because she wanted to "discover and sign bands that could change someone's life. Like the artists changed my life." Dave tells her that their job is to make money and tells Peyton that Rock and Roll can't save the world. She disagrees with that statement. She believes kids are looking for something to believe in and music can save their world. Dave responds by pointing out that she's been in LA for a couple of years and basically questions where her thinking got her...yeah she's still the struggling assistant to the assistant. Dave tells her the sooner she figures out how to "play the game" the sooner she'll get what she wants.

But Peyton doesn't want to play the game ... Dave said she already did by dropping a button for him. If she drops a few more, she'll get his job. Peyton declines and says she'll have his job one day but not that way.

Other information from sides:

The scene is at the school during the day. Jamie (James) is sitting at one of the desks in the empty classroom. Jamie is drawing a basketball on a piece of paper. Haley is at the teacher's desk writing some lesson plans. Lucas walks in and makes a joke about how fast kids grow up. Jamie sees him and runs to him. Lucas kinda plays rough with him and Jamie loves it. Lucas asks him if he is already in high school, but Jamie tells him that he is only four. Lucas says something like Jamie is four going on forty. Luke asks him what he is drawing and Jamie answers that he can't show him just yet. Lucas says that he understands. Jamie goes back to his drawing and Lucas walks up to Haley.

Side for Alice, Mouth's tv studio boss:

At a television studio, Mouth is sitting behind a news desk speaking into the camera. Alice appears and questions Mouth about what he's doing. He innocently replies that he's just checking the audio levels – they guys in the booth told him it would be alright. Alice makes it clear that she's the one he needs to listen to, and if he doesn't do the entry level position he was hired for they'll find someone else.

Later on, Mouth tries to approach Alice and she tells him she doesn't like him. Mouth asks if it's anything he did. She tells him no and the only way to make it better if for him to quit, before she fired a reason to fire him. And she will
.

Side for Molly, young girl living at Peyton's old house:

There is another side for a character named Molly, a 16 year old girl. Molly lives in Peyton's old house and Molly's room is Peyton's old one. Molly asks Peyton if she wants to see the room. Peyton jokes and says I could be a psycho, it happens. Molly says she knows she isn't and knows she is Peyton.

Peyton and Molly enter the room which is now decorated Molly girly, not Peyton girly (yes, that is what the side says). Molly asks if Peyton is really friends with Brooke Davis. Peyton asks Molly if she is psychic and Molly shows Peyton the door with the boy lists on it. The sides mention Lucas' name being on the door. Molly asks again if Brooke and Peyton are still close like best friends. Peyton smiles sadly and says that Brooke is busy.

Also included on the side is Brooke getting ready to go to Milan and telling Millicent to have a good time while she is gone.

Side for Greg, Nathan's basketball rival:

Jamie stares at Nathan who is passed out with a near empty bottle in his hand. Nathan opens one eye, and Jamie tells him that he drinks too much. Nathan agrees. Haley's come in the room and calls for Jamie and they both leave.

Nathan flashes back to that night in the bar. Lucas, Barry and Nathan's group are there celebrating. Greg approaches and asks for an autograph. Nathan agrees and leans in to sign a napkin. Greg tells him to write - To Greg. Portland's biggest Fan. Seattle sucks and so do I. Greg smiles a "smart a@@ grin". Nathan recites what he writes down - To Greg, enjoy losing to us. Your pal, Nathan Scott. Nathan goes to hand the napkin back to Greg, who slaps Nathan's hand away and pushes him hard. Lucas immediately gets in between them and tells Nathan to walk away and that he has too much to lose. Greg eggs Nathan on, but agrees with Lucas and they walk out of the bar. Lucas suggests that Nathan not drive. Nathan gets behind the wheel and puts his keys in the ignition...flashback to present time where Nathan is remembering this, alone in his wheelchair.

Nathan is watching a Draft Day video and we flashback to a bar at night. Nathan is in the car and Lucas pleads with Nathan not to drive. Nathan agrees, and Lucas leaves to go get the limo. Nathan overhears Greg in the bar telling people that they all saw Nathan hit him. Nathan storms his way into the bar confronting Greg and says I didn't hit you and if I did you'd be out cold right now. Greg tells Nathan he should've left with his fat a** wife. Before Greg can finish his sentence Nathan knocks Greg out which starts a brawl in the bar with Greg's cronies. Nathan is thrown though a plate glass window. Lucas rushes over and asks Nathan if he is okay and Nathan tells Lucas that he can't feel his legs. We see shards of glass protruding from Nathan's lower back.

Also contained in the sides:

As Peyton walks through Tree Hill Airport, she sees a sign and smiles. The sign says: Welcome to Tree Hill. Welcome Home. Then we see Peyton in a garage uncovering her old convertible. She looks it over and smiles.

Lucas has returned home. He opens a drawer and finds his original manuscript for his first book. He rummages through and pulls out a few photos - Brooke, him and Nathan and finally....Peyton. He scrutinizes the photo of Peyton.

Side for Barry, Nathan's agent:

Nathan is looking at the prototype for his shoe. He flashes back to a time in a bar with Barry, Nathan's agent. Barry unveils the N.S. 23 to the group who all ooh and ah . Barry toasts to Nathan and says that in 72 hours Nathan will make him wealthier than he already is. The group laughs and takes a drink. Haley tells Nathan and Lucas that she is going to go home, and that the boys should stay there. Nathan asks if she's sure. She tells him yes, and not to drive home but to take the limo. Nathan promises.

Side for Millicent, Brooke's assistant:

Millicent is Brooke's frazzles assistant. The scene opens with Millicent trailing Brooke frantically trying to keep up as Brooke barks things that Millicent needs to do. Brooke passes by a seamstress and without really taking time to focus realizes something is wrong with what she is working on and tells her what to do to make it better. Brooke tells Millicent to send Conan cheese as a thank you. Passing by the Layout Manager's office, she stops to pound on the glass window and tell them that no way they are putting that girl on the cover. She looks unhealthy because she is so skinny and the Manager tells her they are just brainstorming. Brooke says brainstorm better. Brooke heads to her office and asks what time the movie premiere is. Brooke tells Millicent she'll do the red carpet but skip the movies and to call one of the Nick's to see if he wants to go. Millicent thinking Brooke meant the New York Knicks starts naming players from the team. Brooke corrects her and says not the team – the Nicks. Nick Zano, Nick Lacey, Nick Cannon. She tells Millicent to ask Lydia to wait in the limo, and Millicent doesn't think Lydia will like that idea. Brooke says it works for her, but then quickly changes and tells Millicent to not tell Lydia she said that.

Also contained in the side:

Jamie is shooting hoops hoping to one day be like his father, or the version of the Nathan Scott we used to know. Nathan is now described as unkempt and unshaven. Nathan watches Jamie play and, without even turning to see if Haley is there, asks Haley where Jamie got the hoop. Haley says his Uncle Luke gave it to him. Nathan says he doesn't want him playing. Haley defends him and says he's nearly five years old and wants to be like his father, and suggests that Nathan go show him how. Nathan yells before Haley is even finished that he said he doesn't want Jamie playing.

5.02 - "Racing Like A Pro"

Writer:
Director: Paul Johannson

Filming spoilers:

Chad, Hilarie, and Michaela(Lindsey) filmed a scene in a bookstore that will serve as a flashback of one of Lucas's book signings.(from janes34 at OTH Forums)

"We know the book signing is a flash back. We know that Lindsay and Lucas are initially there and then Peyton arrives.
From what I understand when Peyton arrives at the signing, she immediately sees something that makes her leave. Observes something between Lucas and Lindsay. Having said that, I don't know if LP are still together at the time of the signing or what the state of their relationship is at the time, or if what she observes is a fluke or meant to be more innocent or...
But, it's something. I believe she observes some type of kiss that prompts her to leave."
(from Krystal)

"When I was watching filming tuesday night they also shot a scene with chad, fergie, antwon, junk and jackson. I think its supposed to be the night before the race when they show jackson the car, the "red racer", and they ask him if he wants to try it, but he shakes his head, so they just push it down the hill and it crashes." 5.02 Side Summaries

Side for Manny,an applicant for the nanny job:

Daytime at Nathan and Haley's house. Haley is interviewing a "manly sounding" nanny applicant with Peyton and Brooke. When the "Manny" has left, Haley asks Brooke and Peyton what they thought of her, and they respond by mimicking her voice. Haley tells them both that she's doomed: Skills won't be able to babysit when basketball season starts, Nathan refuses to do his rehab, she has no nanny, and she doesn't want to face the "teenage hired assassins" at school. Peyton jokes that "Teenage Hired Assassins" would be a great band name. Brooke then suggests that Peyton can take Nathan to rehab, and she can babysit Jamie - she is his Godmother, even though she barely knows him. Peyton is dubious, but Haley is just glad to have both of her friends home for a while. Brooke's phone rings.

Daytime at Skills and Mouth's apartment. Skills and Lucas are building Jamie a soap box racer, while Jamie watches them intently. Both Lucas and Skills mention that they always wanted a racer like the one they're building. Skills suggests painting it red: "The Red Racer". He then asks Jamie why he's wearing a cape, and Jamie responds that he's a superhero. Skills takes that opportunity to ask Jamie to fly to the kitchen and get him a beer. As Jamie goes to the kitchen, Lucas asks Skills for his take on the "former leading scorer".

Side for Starter at soap box derby:

Daytime at the soap box derby. Skills is talking smack with a five-year-old racer as Haley and Jamie arrive; Skills names him "Lightning Jamie Scott", and Mouth tells him that his outfit is cool. Jamie smiles when Skills asks if he's ready to win the race, but becomes nervous when he sees the hill.

Away from the crowd, by the riverwalk, Peyton is standing around while Brooke paces, speaking on her cell phone. Brooke tells the unidentified caller to stop yelling at her - it's Brooke's company, the caller has no right to yell at her! Brooke finally tries to explain that she can't go back to work because there's a "boy" she has to stay for, presumably Jamie, but becomes exasperated and throws her phone in the river. Seeing this, Peyton walks up to Brooke, and they both stare down to where the phone has just fallen. Brooke asks if she can borrow Peyton's phone. This time she's calling Millicent to say that she needs a new phone. In the distance, Peyton spots Lucas walking "hand in hand" with Lindsey.

Lucas and Lindsey join the others by the starting line. Spying Jamie, Lucas asks if he's racing for "Clothes Over Bro's"? Jamie responds that he's also racing for "Peyton Sawyer Unemployed". The starter calls the racers to their cars as Skills cheers Jamie on, calling him "Flash". Lucas lifts Jamie into his car, and helps him to put on his helmet and goggles. As the starter tells the racers to put their hands on the steering wheel, and Haley tells Jamie to do his best and have fun, Jamie spots a mannequin in one of the t-shirt booths. He becomes worried, and raises his arms to stop the race, when he remembers that they decapitated a mannequin the night before. The starter calls Haley over when Jamie says he no longer wants to race. Jamie then tells his "Mama" that he doesn't want to race - but he does want to talk to Brooke. As Brooke arrives, Jamie tells her that even though he doesn't want to race, he does like his racing suit. She tells him he can keep the suit - but is he sure he won't race? Smartly, Jamie responds that it's his life, and he's taking a stand. As Brooke lifts him from the car, and hands him to Haley, Jamie apologies to "Uncle Skills" for not finishing the race. However, Skills is more interested in turning to the kid he spoke to before Jamie arrived: Jamie's taking a stand, blazing a trail... not being a "follower". Brooke watches the scene, smiling, as Jamie calls her over to go get ice cream.

Night, poolside at Nathan and Haley's house. Haley walks in to find Nathan by the pool in his wheelchair. She decides to keep some distance between them.

Side for Carrie, Jamie's nanny:

Scene starts off at the Scott house in their kitchen. Before leaving, Haley tells Carrie that Lucas is there fixing James' bike. Haley leaves. The script says that Carrie smiles slyly then she removes her top and goes outside in only her bra.

Carrie goes out back and pretends that she didn't know Lucas was there. He sees her and quickly turns away and she puts her shirt back on. She makes small talk by telling him that she thinks it's great that he is so close to James. Then she says that she doesn't know Lucas very well, but that she would like to get to know him better. He says okay. He proceeds to tell her some things about himself. He says that he likes to read, play basketball, and that he likes anything with music. She's like bored and says that he needs to tell her something good, like where he would take her on their first date. He smiles and states that it would have to be somewhere that his girlfriend is not.

Carrie responds that she wants to know where he would take her hypothetically. Lucas charms her by saying that they would go to an Italian restaurant, then to see a band, and some place quiet to talk. She then tells him what she likes to do. She says she likes to work out and to go to the beach. Hypothetically, on a first date, she would probably start the mosh pit when they go to see the band and then she says that it would be hard to talk in his quiet place. He asks her if she likes to talk, but she says that it would be hard to get a word in with her tongue in his mouth. Lucas chuckles and there is a definite tension between them. Carrie then says that she might let Lucas take her home and then he could help her out of her clothes and tie her to the bed if he wants. She says if he were charming enough she would let him do those things. Hypothetically. The script says that she eyes him "hungrily." The scene ends with her staring at him.

Revised side for Carrie:

There's sort of a new-ish side of Carrie (the Nanny) and a scene with Haley. I think its for episode 5.02. Not sure about it. She talks to Haley about her family...the gist is basically...Um...Her dad disappeared early on...her mom was to young..too wild to be a mom and a wife. She spent a lot of time in foster homes...She's basically thanking Haley for giving her a chance and that she's still a work in progress and she didn't want to let Haley down. The scene starts out with Haley playing the piano.

Side for Quentin, hot shot TH basketball player:

Lucas is sitting in his office at his desk. He spots Quentin in the door way and without even waiting for an invitation he enters the office, flops down into the chair opposite Lucas, smiles arrogantly, and puts his feet up on the edge of the desk. Quentin asks if Lucas wants him back. Lucas tells him not unless he removes his feet from his desk. Quentin says he was surprised it took so long, but agrees to play anyway. Lucas remind him he didn't get offered his spot back yet. Quentin tells him that he will because without him what does the team have? Lucas eyes him and tries to set boundaries informing Quentin that he will do as he says and asks again to take his feet off of his desk. This time Quentin listens as Lucas continues. Lucas tells him to play his part, do what he says or Quentin is gone – just so they're clear. Quentin nods along listening to Lucas and then tells Lucas that they both know Quentin is the best shooting guard in the state and that Lucas should cut the bull. Quentin outlines for Lucas what he wants and gives Lucas a few tips on what he should do. Quentin tells Lucas to call him “Q” and that he likes Lucas, but this is how it's going to go – just to they're clear. Quentin exits.

Scene 39: Dan's jail cell. A guard approaches him and hands him something that he states is from Dan's son. Dan opens the envelope and smiles when he sees a photo of his grandson, Jamie.

Scene 40: N/H's home. Night. Jamie dribbles and shoots but misses, Nathan is there on crutches. Nathan passes the ball back to his son and the two laugh and play together. Haley is beaming as she watches from the deck. She remembers what it was like to be happy. She could watch them forever.

Scene 41- Tric. Night.
Jason, who is the lead singer from "No Means Yes" enters and eyes Peyton.
Jason has returned to state that he and his band have decided to give Peyton and her label a chance. He hopes that she won't let them down, and she declares that she won't. She smiles and takes the plant out of the trash and places it back on her desk.

Scene 42- Lucas's house. Night.
Lucas is writing at his computer when Lindsey walks in. She hesitates before speaking. First she says that she has been putting on a brave face for weeks now, but she has ask him something. She wants to know if she should be worried now that his two gorgeous exes are back in town. He wraps his arms around her and tells her that he loves her and that will never change. He tells her that she has nothing to worry about. As they hug, it is evident that Lindsey is relieved.

Scene 43- Brooke's house. Dawn. Patio/deck.

Brooke and Peyton have been talking all night. There is an empty bottle of wine next to them. Peyton asks, "What if Lucas's Lindsey brought you a Lucky Bamboo because she was marking her territory with you also."

5.04 Side Summaries

Side for Mia, an aspiring singer:

Peyton is in Tric and sees Mia. We enter the scene following a previous unknown conversation about Mia's career. Peyton asks Mia if it's enough for her to be a big fish in a small pond. Mia states that she didn't say that and Peyton then asks her what is enough. Mia explains that it's not money or fame that matters, but the ability to change someone's life. To give them hope. Not about getting on the radio or Soundscan numbers. It's about someone hearing your song and realizing that the world isn't such a scary place. Mia states that if she does that, she'll know she's done something; that would be more than enough. Peyton is satisfied.

Next scene:
Mia finishes playing a song and asks Peyton what she thought about it. When Peyton hesitates in her response, Mia goes on a rant about her song, saying that it sucked and that she's going to be a horrible failure. Peyton tells her that "that's not what you know who said." Peyton says that "he" thinks Mia is pretty. This makes Mia feel better and she asks Peyton if she wants to hear another song.

Side for Haley, Peyton, and Jason:

Haley says (to Peyton) that it’s fine. She tells Jason she didn’t mean to “creatively step on” him, but she has some experience. Jason snickers that she has experience playing a church organ. Peyton’s had enough. She tells Jason that Haley’s actually had a major record deal, a billboard hit, and a sold-out national tour. She says that he, on the other hand, is the lead singer of a band that plays in dives for free beer. Peyton says, yeah, he could benefit from Haley’s experience. Jason says whatever, that he’s taking a smoking break, and storms off. Peyton says that they only have the studio for another hour, but he’s already gone. PH exchange looks.

Side for Mouth and Alice:

Mouth is in the editing bay with the Tech Guy watching the raw segment footage. The Tech guy tells Mouth that he saw him coming out of Alice's office. Mouth gets nervous, wondering if the Tech Guy "knows." The Tech guy tells mouth that Alice must have really worked him over and that he shouldn't let it get to him because Alice hates everyone. Mouth breathes a sigh of relief knowing that his secret is safe. The Tech Guy tells Mouth how "solid" the crew is, although you wouldn't know it with the way Alice tears into them. Mouth tells the Tech Guy that yeah, Alice does like to call the shots. The Tech Guy complains that Alice tries to tell him how to do his job and that he can't ever tell her when she's wrong. Mouth says that she never lets him get a word in. The Tech guys says that Alice is lucky she's hot, but he wishes someone would just stand up to her some day. This gets Mouth thinking.

Side for Haley and Peyton:

Peyton and Haley walk from the studio. Peyton apologizes about Jason, but Haley says it’s okay, and she’s worked with self-centered musicians before. Chris Keller ring a bell? Peyton says, only his own. Haley says that if Peyton’s open to it, she’d love to work with them. Peyton asks, like produce the album? She thought Haley was busy. Haley says she was, but with Carrie working out great, she’s had time to think, and you know what? (Direction calls for Haley to start out slow, but to get worked up.)

5.05: "In Between Days"

Writer:
Director:

(Filming from Sept. 13-Sept. 24)

Filming spoilers:

"I was walking downtown last night and they were filming on Princess Street, in an outdoor resturant between Water and Front and it was just Sophia and Chad. They were celebrating something and he popped open a bottle of wine. Thats all I really know..." (from emoler4389oth on othforums.com)

In the morning they filmed at Nathan/Haley apartment (that's how the call sheet calls it). First James, Joy and third person, then Chad, Joy and the same third person. We still don't know who that person was though, but a couple of persons that were there told us there was no child around, so I guess it was not Jamie. We can tell you it was probably a flashback because we saw Joy and she had extensions.

"They filmed at the church. one of the rooms inside is supposed to be Lindsey office. We didn't stay on that set but we saw the trucks. According to the call sheet they filmed 2 scenes with Lucas and Lindsey."

"In the night they filmed 2 BL scenes, that were supposed to be in NY central park. We were afraid they would change the schedule and film something at studios but it didn't rain so they filmed outside. We couldn't see much. They used a short part of a street. There were lights, 3 cabs and 3 carriages. Brooke and Lucas carriages was white. The carriages gave us their back so we couldn't actually see Chad and Sophia while filming. They filmed scenes. The first was the carriages moving and there were extras walking and the cabs too. The second scene looked like a close up of Brooke and Lucas that talk with the guy that drives the carriage. She had a black short dress with a golden stripe on the decollete. Chad had blue jeans, boots and a white button shirt with squares."

5.05 Side Summaries

Flashback scenes from Nathan/Lucas's college days:

Scene 10-Lucas asks Whitey what he's going to do now that he's retired and he says he'll probably go to the basketball games and yell at the coach. Lucas smiles at that and they walk off.

Scene 11-In the Locker Rooms: Nathan's being interviewed by a reporter as he changes back into his clothes. The reporter comments about how the scouts will probably take notice and Nathan says he's just happy to be playing the game and that this year taught him that the most important thing is his family. Lucas approaches and tells Nathan that the bus is leaving. As they walk out, Nathan tells him that that was the first time he wasn't asked about the point shaving.

Scene 12-When they exit the stadium, Jamie and Haley are waiting for them. Haley tells Nathan he can ride with the team, she just wanted to say goodbye. They kiss and Nathan tells Jamie to "get some sleep kiddo" and he'll see him at home. As Lucas and Nathan make their way through the crowd to the bus, a fan calls out to Nathan that he has a cute kid and he wonders if he'll grow up to be a cheater like his old man. Nathan ad Lucas both try to ignore him, but the guy keeps pushing him. In a flash, Nathan gets him by the throat and threatens to shave the guys face into the pavement. Lucas wraps himself around Nathan and drags him onto the bus as Whitey stares from a distance, troubled.

Scene 13-On the bus, Lucas is sitting alone slumped alone in his seat. He checks his iPhone messages and he has one from Peyton saying "play this song when you win the championship." As the song plays, he begins to smile.

Side for co-worker:

Scene 16- LA record company. Morning. Peyton is making copies when a co-worker tells her that she has a phone call. Lucas is shown on the phone walking in a hallway. Peyton is excited and says that she saw highlights of the game and she was wanting to call him all morning. He asks her what she is wearing, and she (embarrassed) says that she can't do that right now because she is at work. He guesses that she is wearing her Ramones tee over the white long-sleeved shirt with the torn jeans. She looks down at herself and is amazed to see that he is exactly right. She's like, "Wow, you are good" and right after she makes that statement, she looks up and Lucas is standing right there in the flesh. Her eyes go wide with surprise.

Scene 17-Since Peyton couldn't go see Lucas, he's visiting her at work. She rushes to him, they kiss and Lucas looks around the crappy mail room which she apparently previously referred to as "Marketing and Distribution."

Scene 18-Record Company. Morning. Lucas is following Peyton as she works. She explains to him, as she passes out mail, that she may have "pimped up" her job description a little bit. She basically works in the mail room. Lucas tells her that's what Hollywood is about, the spin, and that Peyton knows more about music than any of these tools. Peyton shushes him, saying he's going to get her into trouble and she points out that not all of them are tools. A petulant executive snips at Peyton when she places the mail wrong and then requests a onion bagel from her. Lucas mocks him saying, "right away, Carl." Peyton shakes her head and they keep moving. When Lucas asks Peyton why she puts up with all of it, she points out a woman who was working in the mail room, but after three months, is a now a junior A&R executive. Lucas tells Peyton that he bets that woman didn't produce two albums by the time she graduated high school. Peyton tells Lucas that he should get out of there or they'll both get fired. Lucas tells her that he made reservations for eight o'clock. Peyton frowns, it's too early. He says he'll change it to nine, and she tells him to text her the address and she'll meet him there. She then pulls him into a BIG KISS (the text is big like that). And says "it's so good to see you, Luke."

Scene 19: Lucas is waiting for Peyton to show up at the restaurant. He's wearing a suit and a tie, no Peyton in sight. He plays with his spoon as the waitress asked him if he wants another basket of bread. He said she'll be here in a minute. Peyton arrives still in her work clothes. Lucas BRIGHTENS (yes they're capped like that) when he sees her. Peyton apologizes. She eyed him and said "look at you." Its been a while since she saw someone in a suit that isn't a lawyer or an agent or a successful novelist. Lucas said he doesn't know about that, he gets a rejection letter everyday. Peyton tells him that his book is good. It will happen. She knows it.

Side with Ticket Agent for Scenes 23-27

Scene is in LAX airport, during the day. Lucas is dealing with the ticket agent. He tells the ticket agent that he needs to go back a little earlier than he expected. The TA tells him he’ll see what he can do.

Scene cuts to Peyton, waking up in the hotel room. She scans the room, then calls out for Lucas. She see’s the CD sitting next to her on the pillow. It says everything.

Back to LAX and Lucas. His cell phone rings, and it introduces Lindsey. Lindsey is sitting at her desk, and she introduces herself as Lindsey Strauss, a junior editor from Putnam and Pratt. She read Luke’s novel. He says it was nice of her to call, that everyone else sends their rejection letters nowadays. Lindsey says she actually loved it, and passed it on to her boss, and he feels the same way. There’s a pause, so she says, “Hello?” Lucas is stunned, but says he’s still here. Lindsey says that what she’s saying is that they want to publish Lucas’ book. How soon can he be in New York? Lucas is trying to process all of this. He says he’ll figure something out, and that he looks forward to meeting her, too. He turns back to the Ticket Agent, and tells him he needs to go to New York. They’re publishing his novel. The TA says congratulations; that must be a dream. Lucas nods and navigates his phone to Peyton’s number. He pauses, but then decides not to call her.

Side for "Senior Editor":

Scene 29 - New York party. Night. It's a huge party to celebrate Lucas' book. The senior editor corners Lucas and excitedly tells him that Dan being a convicted murderer is exactly what they need for a great "hook" for the market and the readers. Lucas obviously looks uncomfortable. Lindsey sees him and she steers him away to get a drink. The senior editor also wants to change the title of Luke's book. Lucas is confused, but Lindsey says that always happens. Lucas states that Lindsey is too young to be an editor, and she replies that he is pretty young to have a book published.

Lindsey asks Lucas if the "Luke and Peyton" from his novel...Lucas says that they didn't. Lindsey seems disappointed and states sincerely that she was rooting for them. She leaves. An assistant approaches Lucas and tells him that someone from Tree Hill is here to see him. It's Brooke. They hug, happy to see each other. Lucas tells her that he is glad that she came. She says that she wouldn't miss the chance to spend a night on the town with a best selling author.

Scene 30 - Brooke's upscale apartment. Brooke tells Lucas that her mom moved out to NY a while ago since her dad travels so much. Brooke thinks they should just have a trial separation.

Side for Bartender:

Scene 31: Brooke and Lucas are sitting in a crowded bar. Brooke asks if he saw the look on her face? She says you’d think someone spewed on her Jimmy Choo’s. Lucas says he’s glad she’s enjoying this. Brooke says, come on, he and Peyton are going to work things out. Luke says he doesn’t think so. Not this time. She says it sounds like he gave her an ultimatum, and trust her, there’s no better way to paralyze a girl. Lucas asks Brooke how many times she’s talked to Peyton since she left LA. This touches a raw spot for Brooke. She says it’s not Peyton’s fault. They’re both busy. Lucas responds, and today she broke up with her boyfriend. Has she even called you? Brooke doesn’t answer, and Lucas shakes his head. He continues and says things have changed. Brooke insists he’s just saying that because he’s hurt, and she gets it. But Brooke doesn’t think he meant any of it. There’s a long pause, and Lucas stares at the floor. Brooke continues and says, you know what? We should get drunk. Really, really drunk. Then she asks to see the ring again. Lucas hands her the ring, and the bartender takes notice. He says, congratulations! The crowd applauds, and BL try to protest, but the bartender continues with champagne on the house. >There’s more applause, and Brooke/Lucas exchange a look- why not? Brooke puts the ring on and puts on her best smile as champagne flows freely.

Brooke asks to the see the ring again and Lucas hands it to her. The bartender gets the wrong idea (as they protest) and congratulates them, giving them champagne on the house. As the entire bar applauds them they figure, "why not" and choose to enjoy the free drinks.

In Central Park: Both are a little tipsy. Brooke implies that the ring got them free drinks all over Midtown. A horse-drawn carriage driver notices them, asks if they want a ride. Lucas responds by continuing the joke about their engagement and the ride becomes free.

As they ride through the park, the driver asks them about their future life together. They share a glance, having no choice but to play along. They trade off in their responses. Brooke says they'll be a power couple, and Lucas says and still have time for a big family. He says he'll coach little league and she says she'll buy cookies for the team. He says they'll spend their summers at the beach and she says "and winters in South France." Lucas ends with "it won't matter as long as we're together." The driver says that's the key--finding someone to love and have them love you back. "Love is what it's all about." End of act four.

Episode 5.06

5.06 Side Summaries

Scene 3 - The beginning of the side has a Skills/Nathan scene that is odd. Very odd.Skills states never to date girls named Bevin. He also makes a strange comment about how Santa Claus is black. Nathan asks him if he said anything about the Easter Bunny. Nathan tells him not to say anything about Dan until they can figure out that situation. Skills says that he won't say a word. I think they are talking about something that Skills has told Jamie, because Skills mentions that the "kid" would have asked a lot of questions.

Scene 4- Peyton is outside of her old house staring at it. Molly sees her. Peyton, motioning to her old room, asks if that is Molly's room. Molly says that it is and she asks her if she wants to see it. Peyton says that she could be a psycho, and Molly says that she's not and that she is Peyton. (surprisingly she knows who she is)

Scene 5- Peyton enters her old bedroom and comments that things have really changed. It looks very girly. Peyton says that her walls used to be red, and Molly says that is crazy. But Peyton says that was the way she liked it. Molly asks if she really loved Lucas, and Peyton looks at her and aks if she is psychic. Molly smiles and opens up a closet door to display a faded "Peyton + Lucas =TLA" etched in the door. Molly asks her if it really was true love always, and Peyton is sad.

Scene 6- Lucas's bedroom. Lucas and Lindsey kiss. He tells her that the weekends are so much better when she is there. She agrees. She says it's because she can hang out with Haley...and with him. (trying to tease him)

Side for Owen - Peyton waits for Owen in his car, outside his bar. Not expecting to find her there, Owen jokes that she can't be car jacking him, because the car isn't worth much - but he likes it, so he'll fight her if he has to. Peyton apologizes for snapping at him, and asks if they can talk. Owen responds that they know where that would lead. He elaborates that they'll have a good time, he'll end up wanting to sleep with her, and things will go downhill from there. Peyton asks him why that would happen. Owen, seemingly joking, answers that if she sleeps with him, she'll get obsessed, start buying him gifts, lose her job ... cutting him off, Peyton replies that she runs her own company. At that, Owen tells her she's not screwed up enough for him; however, Peyton is adamant that she's "totally screwed up". Owen once again asks why he should sleep with her, and in response Peyton takes off her t-shirt and throws it at him. She isn't wearing a bra. Owen jokes that she makes "a couple of good points," but he really has to get home. Frustrated, Peyton responds that nobody turns her down when she's naked! Handing back her t-shirt, Owen tells her that they could sleep together, but may end up regretting it; and besides, what if they'll be missing out on something special? Peyton fires back, asking what if she just wants to sleep with him? He tells her that would be disappointing, because they could be much more than that. Finding Owen's last comment charming, Peyton looks at him... before he continues: he's no idiot, of course he'll sleep with her, but she should think about what he said.

Update on KF's appearances as Jason: "I've had a great time doing it I didn't really know I'd have as much fun as I did doing it. "I've shot two already and I've got to go out and shoot one more... We'll see where it takes me."

General Spoilers

Spoilers from Amanda (hoydenish):

"L/P ended as a result of following different paths and that they drifted apart and just went their separate ways."

"They do all meet up at the Rivercourt 4 years later (as foreshadowed in the finale) but I don't yet know the reason."

"There is apparently reference to Brooke having had one love 'many years ago'. It is definitely Lucas. It's in the outline specifically and comes up after Brooke is asked a question. She is asked a question. There is a hesitation (in the outline this hesitation is specified as her thinking of Lucas - whether or not a flashback would accompany this or it would be left to speculate about is unclear) Her answer to this question indicates that Yes, there was this one guy she loved."

In following eps. it is made pretty clear that Brooke is totally Pro L/P and that L/P have all sorts of angst and unresolved feelings.
L/P are definitely getting back together. It literally is already written that L/P are going to try "once more - this time for keeps"...

"I'm pretty sure the episode where LP actually reunite is in ep. 11. Which tells me that Mark wants it to end LP. He does not know if there will be more than 13 eps. and he is making sure LP are together."

From Taylor:

"Mark told a fan that this season will be a little different. He says the main focus is going to be on the core 5. He also mentioned that he believes that Lucas and Peyton did not have closure."

Chad's spoilers for season five:

(Chad at the 2007 Montecarlo Television Festival)

On Season 5: "I'm looking forward to it. As of right now, what I do know. Actually it's kinda funny, we're aging four years and I'm still four years older than my character. We, at this point, I know Lucas has put out a book. It's been semi-successful. Everybody's awaiting the release of his second book, but he's having a difficulty, kinda being honest with himself and I think he needs to come back to Tree Hill and figure that out amongst his friends before he hurts anybody or does anything improper. That's my belief. And I know that he's now going to be the coach of the Ravens and he will mentor an eighteen-year-old kid who's probably on the wrong side of the tracks. That's all I know right now, we start filming on the eighteenth of July.

On working with Hilarie and LP's future: "I don't know; we haven't discussed that. I have no idea what goes on with the relationships in season five..... So, I think that most likely Peyton and Lucas will continue that bond and will continue growing together."

Sophia talking about Kevin Federline being on One Tree Hill-
"I haven’t met him or ever spoken to him and I don’t work with him so I don’t know, I’m definitely not the person to ask. We’re jumping ahead four years and it’s been a lot of fun. It gives us a little mystery, it gives the fans something new, you know. No more of the same triangles it’s all new storylines so it’s all great. "

Ask Ausiello:
August 1
Question: As a late birthday gift, could you give me anything on One Tree Hill?— April B.
Ausiello: Casting scoop! Newcomer Michaela McManus has been added to the cast for a multi-episode arc. She'll be playing a "tough but kind" New York editor assigned to work on Lucas' novel. Daphne Zuniga, meanwhile, is doing five episodes as a "glamorous and intimidating" business exec who works with Brooke.

July 4:

Question: I know you hate the show, but please give me some One Tree Hill scoop!— Mary Faith

Ausiello: Well, since OTH is taking a leap of faith and jumping four years into the future, expect some new faces to join the familiar ones: a cocky new Ravens player who will butt heads with Lucas, a New York book editor who has a hard time balancing work and play, plus a manipulative business executive with a cruel streak and a beautiful and nurturing nanny for Nathan and Haley's son, James. Speaking of that baby we left in diapers last season, expect one smart little boy when we return.

I thought it was moved to Thursday around March 2006, with five or six episodes still to air? Eh, no matter really.

Hopefully we'll get some spoilers and photos from whatever they're filming at the University today.

I drove by the university a little while ago, and nothing was there. no set up, nothing. the trailers are still parked at the factory parking lot. My source told me they'd start at the University at three, but then when i talked to him later, he said to call him at 5 or 6. I dont know what's going on.

My sister also saw them setting up, she just saw someone putting up one of the TRP signs. So I guess they'll be at UNCW tonight.

You're right. I went back and looked. It was like the last few episodes. They showed two new episodes in one week at the end of February/beginning of March. I think they flipped Related and Supernatural.

It's still rare that happens and I don't think they'll move Gossip Girl (especially into a potential lead-off position) until Season 2.

That's Ashley. She lives in Wilmy (obviously...LOL). She used to post over here, but I haven't seen her around in a while.
