I would.Two J.P shows back to back is pure torture,its like a death wish,the audience should be given time to recover from all of the assault on the senses.I mean just think of the brain damage that occurs during the course of one epi.Now multiply that by 10.That's what will happen when both shows air back to back.Do you really want that ?come on.

Nothing has been said yet but it sounds like they had a moment in the direct it's cut and people have taken a liking to it. So it may happen.

The 2 shows have to be in the same timeline if they're doing crossovers.

And about the new new premiere, it's really going to be the same but with Elijah's pov? no new footage at all? (and i'm not talking about footage from the director"s cut).

Yea we were debating earlier in the thread if they would remember that detail. TVD isn't known for its continuity so it wouldn't be a surprise of they neglected that fact. I think it's weird that they didn't just do the first episode as months later.

I think it will have the scenes from the director's cut as well as other new ones. Joseph tweeted something about the ending being shocking so I think that will be something new.

No, it has new footage. Elijah will just retell what happened in the backdoor pilot but not for like the entire episode, and I don't think they'll need to show the old scenes for him to do that
