synopsis:
From Ryan Murphy, the creator of "Nip/Tuck" and "Popular," comes GLEE,
a one-hour musical comedy, that follows an optimistic high school teacher as he tries to transform the Glee Club
and inspire a group of ragtag performers to make it to the biggest competition of all: Nationals.

Will Schuester, a young optimistic teacher, has offered to take on the Herculean task of restoring McKinley's Glee Club to its former glory.
Everyone around him thinks he's nuts. He's out to prove them all wrong.

Oh, yeah. Gloria Estefan just told us she can't wait to really "have it out" with Santana's (Naya Rivera) grandmother over her daughter's sexuality. And then there's the song they're all singing…basically, just prepare for some fireworks when Gloria comes to Glee!

Jon Groff is coming back!
At an event celebrating the show’s 300th musical performance on Wednesday, exec producer Ryan Murphy revealed that Groff will appear in multiple episodes as the new coach of Vocal Adrenaline.

Apparently, pretty runs in Blaine’s family: White Collar hunk Matt Bomer is nearing a deal to guest-star in an April episode of Glee as the Warbler’s older brother, TVLine has learned exclusively.
This is big for a number of reasons. Among them:  Since this will be the first time we meet any of the other Andersons, we might finally learn a bit about Blaine’s apparently gorgeous kin.
This will also be the first time a lot of people will get to hear Bomer sing — because yes, natch, his character will get in on his sib’s musical number. (Oh, and lest you doubt his pipes, check out this clip below from the 2010 Kennedy Center Honors.)
It seems the soap grad is something of a new muse for Glee creator Ryan Murphy: He’s also just cast Bomer in his in-the-works film adaptation of Larry Kramer’s play, The Normal Heart.

Glee is going Lindsane.

The Fox hit is in final negotiations with Lindsay Lohan to guest star in one of this season’s final episodes, TVLine has learned exclusively. What’s more, she’ll be playing the role she was born to: herself! An insider at the Fox hit confirms that, if the deal is sealed, the movie star-turned-tabloid queen — once famously the butt of a joke on the show — will serve as a celebrity judge at Nationals. Although there’s no word yet as to who might be joining Lohan on the panel, past judges for the annual season-ending competition have included Josh Groban and Olivia Newton-John. The Glee gig would mark the latest leg of the troubled actress’ Hollywood comeback, which got underway last month when she hosted Saturday Night Live. Her last scripted TV gig was a 2008 arc on Ugly Betty. She’s currently in talks to play acting legend Elizabeth Taylor in a Lifetime biopic.

Rachel and Kurt’s post-McKinley fate rests in Whoopi Goldberg‘s hands.

Glee sources confirm to TVLine exclusively that the Oscar winning actress-turned-View master has signed on for an extremely pivotal multi-episode arc.

Goldberg will play Carmen Tibideaux, a theatrical grande dame and a professor at New York Academy of the Dramatic Arts (NYADA) who travels to Ohio to preside over Kurt and Rachel’s auditions — and apparently she sticks around long enough to deliver a verdict: I’m told she’ll appear in roughly three episodes, the first of which is set to air on May 1.

Fun fact: The New York-based Goldberg accepted the gig despite her well documented fear of flying (Glee shoots in Los Angeles). Of course, last month she headed West to shoot an episode of The Middle playing Sue’s guidance counselor (it airs May 2), so perhaps she’s developing a friendlier relationship with the skies?

Prior to the back-to-back Glee/Middle stints, Goldberg’s last scripted TV series role was in Benjamin Bratt’s A&E drama The Cleane

Quinn, Mercedes, Mike and Puck are likely not going to be around very much at all. Rory is gone. The rest will be around regularly.

According to the people that watched filming, yes. And apparently the title of that episode is "The Break Up".

They'll be back to together by Christmas. Zzzzzz.
