that is possible it's AB- that can't come from O+. I am not super good with explaining that stuff but Google probably could explain it better. But basically for Scarlett to be AB her mother has to either be an A, B or AB.

If Scarlett's mom isn't showing up in any of the episodes after 3.12 (that we know of), it would seem like she's not sticking around long enough to be the donor.
My bet is completely on Tandy. That door scene...for a reason! And she'd make the most sense anyway. No sig.other, no kids, low risk, and she'd do anything for her sister.
Then again I could see them pulling a stupid move like having it be Luke to "redeem" his character by the end of the season....

I think it's almost certainly going to be Maddie.

Maddie makes sense to me also, unless they want to be super dramatic and make it Teddy or Rayna, lol but those two R just so far fetched so yes I also am betting on Maddie.

No I just meant we know how much the "powers that be" love Will Chase, so they could use that as an excuse to keep Luke around. But I dont think Maddie is old enough, don't you have to be 18? I can't really see any of her 3 parents really agreeing to that, maybe if she was a few years older.

Do you all really think Maddie will be the donor? I don't think Deacon would go for it being her at all. And she is a minor, which would be frowned on in the real world, especially considering the type of transplant needed. There isn't a large amount of information on long term effects on donors for liver transplants. When minors are used as donors, they are supposed to be an absolute last resort, so Deacon would have to be in pretty bad shape before she would even be considered, I believe. But I guess anything is possible on TV...

I can't imagine there won't be a part of this story that doesn't come to "Deacon on death's door". I don't LIKE the idea of Maddie as a donor because she's a minor. Yes, you can give part of your liver, but it's a hugely painful and invasive surgery and there are indications it can potentially have long-term impact for certain things. I don't know that a 15 year old girl is emotionally or mentally prepared to make that choice, even if she thinks she is. But I see it happening.

I can see her being a match and het wanting to do it but it never happening and he gets another donor or didn't we here he goes for a second opinion? Maybe I'm wrong but I coulda swore he goes to another dr for a second opinion and also Scarlette having him do the whole holistic approach, but I'm so not sure if that's something that was leaked or an idea. Anyways trur in TV land anyyhing is possible but I think it's more realistic for Beverly to be a match and Scarlette get her blood type from her dad. Ok now im just blabbering lol

Even if her dad was AB, an O mom can't give to an AB baby so it can't be Beverly. Beverly can only be an A, B or AB.

Yeah, an AB child cannot have an O parent, in terms of blood type. They've ruled out Scarlett AND her mother in that move.
