Yes. The second half of the season is amazing...especially the last 5 episodes. The show starts off kinda rough though...just a warning. The best way is to just push through and focus on the stuff you like.

I used to rough starts. Sometimes it takes a show a little while to get on it's feet. Better to start off rocky than start off good and fall off.

Well, there were things here and there that I enjoyed...but it was kinda all over the place in tone, characterization, and focus. I watched the Pilot back in October and shelved it because I just wasn't compelled enough to watch. I always intended on giving it a second chance, but it wasn't until I was at home all the time cause of the pandemic that I binge-watched Episodes 2-16 and fell for the show. I was able to get past the rough parts of the show pretty quickly and see it gradually improve and become more cohesive.

It seems like they finally figured out what they wanted to do around during the second half. They had some serious momentum during the last 5 or 6 episodes and then they were cut short. I can only imagine what was originally going to happen in the four missing episodes. I'm guessing most of it will be folded into Season 2...especially the Aglaeca stuff...but I doubt they'll waste four season 2 episodes. They'll probably wrap it up in 2 and then move onto other storylines...but I could be wrong.

Oh definitely. I'd rather have a slower star than a dramatic nosedive right away.
