If Peyton is supposed to reveal her true feelings to Lucas in 5.8, maybe the "I still love you" won't air until then. IMO, it just doesn't seem to fit that Peyton would say it twice.

When tvguide describes Peyton confessing her feelings in 508, I just assume they are talking about Peyton going to Lucas and telling him not to marry Lindsey because the kiss confirmed everything she was thinking (i.e. that she still loves him).

Lucas' feelings for Peyton is the reason why Lindsey is walking away. I think it's on Lucas more than Peyton, and hopefully, the writers won't even entertain the idea otherwise.

Piper31 02-06-2008 08:10 PM

Maybe. It just seemed in the previews that she says everything she needed to say to Lucas next week.

It wouldn't be her fault and it isn't. But I can see him initially blaming her for it not working out with Lindsey because he doesn't want to accept the responsibility.
Yeah. With the way he's been acting, I could definitely see that happening. But perhaps that is the moment where he gains some perspective and really finally takes some of the blame for a the mess he made and actually stops putting the blame on other people...well, Peyton. He can finally come to terms with the fact that he also had a part in their breakup. He had a part in Lindsey not marrying him. It's not just Peyton. And that's what the moment could be for. It makes him finally realize it.

Also, I watched the promo again, and when Lucas says, "I've moved on, why haven't you?" I don't think that "Because I still love you." is Peyton's first response. It definately doesn't seem like it. I think that she's says other things before she says that, which I'm excited for.
I agree. There's no "because" in there either. It's just her saying "I still love you," and that could come after anything. Any long string of words. He knows why, really. He knows why she hasn't moved on. it's kind of a useless question for him to ask when he already knows the answer.

Anyway I'm increasingly convinced that Lindsey find the ring. The way they have placed the image on the drawer after the dream of Lucas is suspected.

In the end, Peyton is the sole reason for Lindsey walking away.

Maybe Lucas blames her for coming back more then Lindsey leaving him.

Bringing this over from the news thread...GG will likely go back into production as soon as the strike ends

That is interesting. Really makes me wonder if they will start OTH back up. GG is the CW's baby, so maybe the same won't apply to OTH. I really don't see why they wouldn't try to film more episodes. If they are going to start production up again on a show that is doing not that great like GG was, why wouldn't they for one of their better performing shows?

I wonder though if they do end up doing however many more episodes for season five, if that means there would still be a possibility of another season? I don't really want close to a full season five and then more episodes next season.
